Island Cafe and Grill was an exquisite experience! My husband had the jerk chicken lunch and I had the oxtail — both were absolutely delicious. We each tried their ginger drinks (mine plain, his guava), and let me tell you, the flavors were amazing! The portions are generous, the food is packed with authentic taste, and the atmosphere is warm and relaxing. We’re already planning our next visit to explore more of the menu. If you’re in the area and looking for an excellent dining spot, I highly recommend stopping by!

Excellent brunch option! We came here on a whim and we’re so glad!!
Plenty of seating at gorgeous wood tables, spacious and warm with pleasant island music to take you away from the harsh cape winter.
Service was impeccable, very fast and courteous. Food was AMAZING, every bite was perfect, and I can’t wait to come back and explore some of the lunch options!

Also a cute fish tank with a pretty little blue and pink fish couple 🙂
Very fun, highly recommend as a hidden gem in Hyannis!

Stopped in between my events today and what a great idea. The coconut margarita was just what I needed and the loaded fries were amazing. The staff is always welcoming and really attentive to our needs. Will definitely be back with the family❤️

Not many breakfast spots in this area, but of the limited options, it’s worth coming here. We had a 20-minute wait for our party of 6, but once seated we felt sincere customer service. Very pleasant staff and efficient too. The food was amazing, cooked with island and we enjoyed it. We had a combo of both Jamaican favorites and all-time American eats and no disappointment. The local juice options were tasty as well.
Not a big dining room but comfy seating and even a private room I saw for any private dining needs. I highly recommend this spot and for sure will go back if I’m in the area. Parking seems ok but maybe not a lot on a busy day.

Amazing Jamaican food in Hyannis!
I stopped by and was blown away by how good everything was. The jerk chicken was packed with flavor—perfectly seasoned, smoky, and tender with just the right amount of heat. The pasta was surprisingly incredible too—creamy, rich, and full of island flavor that tied perfectly with the jerk spices.

You can tell the food is made with real care and authenticity. Portions were generous, service was friendly, and the place has that warm, welcoming vibe that makes you want to come back. Easily one of the best meals I’ve had in Hyannis. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our breakfast here. The wrap was a bit too spicy for us and the Cole slaw too sweet. The eggs Benedict were perfect. The coconut French toast I expected to be a bit sweeter. However if you like maple syrup, it will be better. Great that the berries compote looked like it was fresh. Good experience for good prices. We will come back!

Hands down the best restaurant I’ve been to in cap cod. When we come to Massachusetts area from New York, we always stop in to this establishment. The owners are friendly and the staff is professional and welcoming. Food is amazing and fresh! You must also try the ginger guava drink, amazing!

Food service is fast as well! This is a must go to restaurant.

Island Cafe and Grill offers delicious food that includes Caribbean cuisines with excellent customer service. All meals are well prepared, my favorite dish to have is curried goat meat with rice and peas Jamaican style it’s always finger licking good. This is my favorite spot to eat when I want a taste of home.
The atmosphere is very pleasant and intimate.
The owners Erica and Patrick, always take time to greet their guest, and ensure that they are always satisfied.
I have dined at Island Cafe and Grill countless times and will continue to do so in the future.

Breakfast was good. The pancakes were mild, not the best, definitely generic brand used. We got the coconut french toast which was way better.
