It’s real food!! I had a turkey club, french fries and homemade chicken nice soup with shell noodles. So GOOD!!! It’s enough I feed two people easily, homemade macaroni salad and cole slaw crispy deli pickle! I will be back!! So so so great!!’ Went back again absolutely unbelievably delicious. The food is always amazing! I usually go on the weekends right after work in the morning to unwind. The pastrami / corn beer panini is so good! French fries nice and crisp, pickles and the coleslaw is amazing! The older gentleman who I think is the owner is very sweet and great conversationalist. I highly recommend!

First time but my wife used to go there when she was a teenage and the food still tasted great. Which if you like me have the same quality of food and service is how I judge. If you heading down 33 to Asbury Park stop there for breakfast or lunch. If you do tell me what you think of it.

I hadn’t been to Jersey in a very long time and the first thing I needed was a pork roll, egg and cheese sandwich! Irv’s Deli and Restaurant to the rescue and my lovely, beautiful server who was amazing! The restaurant was tidy and clean, nothing fancy, a straight up Jersey diner. A cup of coffee and my sandwich was exactly right. This sandwich tasted exactly like I remembered it years ago and I wished I would have had time to come back, but my trip was over and I had to fly back to the land of no porkroll and bad pizza! Please support the gem! Delish! Old school and perfect!

Excellent deli/restaurant. Can’t believe that I never went here before. Absolutely delicious sandwiches and many other food choices. I chose the tongue sandwich. It was to die for !!! It’s been so hard to get since Covid. I had a very nice surprise. Only one waitress but she managed to take care of everyone in a very timely manner. If you want a great deli sandwich, go here !!! Nice comfortable interior too.

Very friendly staff, cute cozy nice family atmosphere. We had sandwiches and last night ..huge. Breakfast, my companion had waffles and link sausage. Loved it. I had short stack, ah. Coffee excellent.

They weren’t nice cuz I came with my puppy they told me to order quick so I will leave quick cuz I have a puppy even tho she’s a service dog and not only that the burger I ordered tasted like hell at least if u treat ppl like shit make sure ur food is good

I absolutely love this deli. We were visiting from the DMV area. The owners were super sweet. The hospitality was great and the food was absolutely DELICIOUS! I wish I would’ve taken pictures, but we were so hungry. I got a chicken club and my boyfriend got a meatball sub. Everything was fresh. Definitely will be back.

We had such a horrible experience in this restaurant. I ordered steak and eggs cut into the first bite noticed it was a little red cut into the second bite and thought geez, It’s cold in the middle. I picked up that piece of meat and flipped it over and the whole thing was raw on one side not even cooked. I was horrified. I’m still reeling from this experience! Did not offer to take it off the bill just put it right back on the grill and cooked it some more even with my bites taken out of it. I will never go back here again.
