We still can’t believe we found delicious tacos here in Southern Maine! We tried Ironclad Eats once and were instantly hooked…we might have gone back a few times before the wedding just because we couldn’t get enough of those tacos and the awesome crew (shout-out Joey Spatula!). Dan and Steph were amazing to work with from start to finish. They showed up right on time for our wedding, served everyone so quickly, and every single guest raved about their unique taco creations, even the picky eaters went back for seconds! The whole team was so fun, friendly, and full of great energy. We wish we got more pictures with them because they were such a memorable part of our special day. Highly recommend them for any event! They truly made ours unforgettable!

On a beautifully sunny October day, I was so grateful to get the chance to try the Ironclad Eats taco truck when they were posted outside one of our favorite watering holes in Portland!
Before I get into the full review: I do encourage people to try ironclad eats when they get chance! I look forward to trying the other menu items available.
The folks at Ironclad were gracious upon greeting and patient as we made our choices for quick eats! The food was ready in a timely manner and looked very appetizing. I have to admit that the chop cheese and iron cubano were very tasty and hit my expectations to a tee. The thrashville chicken let me down a bit because I thought that the shredded chicken could certainly have been seasoned heavier (some bites were delicious and some bites were bland chicken taste). The riverbottom nightmare beef taco was similarly a bit disappointing, I was hoping for a more prominent taste from the gojuchang sauce. Based on food that I ate, I would aware ironclad eats 4/5 stars because I did think the chop cheese and iron cubano were actually amazing tacos that I would rush back to try again! I also noticed folks around me eating burritos and quesadillas that looked delicious.
Heading downtown, I was excited for some nachos to go with our tacos and in the moment, I didn’t see any side dishes that we wanted to add to our order. In the end, I also missed the sauce section of their menu (somewhat my fault) and I would have loved to try a couple of the assorted sauce options!

Ironclad Eats is the most amazing caterer we have ever witnessed at an event!!! Our wedding was absolutely perfect and in a huge part thanks to their amazing team! We have had guests reaching out to us just to comment on how amazing the food was. We have had guests send us photos of the food they brought home with them. We had one guest send us a photo of them having a leftover burrito for breakfast because they just couldn’t wait! We would book this food truck a million times over. Also, the to go box for the bride and the groom was the best thing in the world to go home to after a long day at the wedding! I hope you stay in business forever. Iron Clad Eats for life

We hired Ironclad Eats for our wedding of about 80 people at Belleflower Brewing Co. They were absolutely awesome! Communication before our event was clear and easy. During the event, the folks at Ironclad were super friendly and kind, and mad sure that our guests were served quickly–and obviously the food was also delicious 🙂 We would wholeheartedly recommend working with Ironclad Eats for any similar event!

These tacos are FANTASTIC! Plenty of dairy-free options as well. We tried all 6 tacos and it was hard to pick a favorite as they were all so delicious and flavorful Can’t wait to go back!

Phenomenal taco truck!! Each taco is made with finesse and is unique. Never had a taco truck experience this tasty or gourmet in Portland or boston. Highly recommend and hope to be back!

We gladly drive a fair distance to get our fix from the Iron Clad dudes. Their commitment to doing good in their community is amazing. But their tacos…. Completely unmatched. It’s impossible to pick just one. Thank goodness for the boneyard so we don’t have to pick. Just give me them all! (P.S. Our kiddo loves them, too, and gets the cheesy blasters.)

Caught these guys at Apres in Portland and this was my first time eating their food. After looking at their menu, over a dozen choices and combos, I chose the Iron Cubano. I’ve eaten Cubanos in Tampa Florida (the birthplace of the Cubano) but this was hands down 100% the best Cubano I’ve ever had. Great food, great service, and really great people will have me coming back. 10/10
