First off I usually love the Iron Skillet restaurants
Today I ordered a bacon turkey club Like I do at all the Iron Skillets
This one made me very unhappy
I ordered no pickles no onions And as you can see the cook put both on Only 1 slice of breaded Instead of all three slices
I felt bad for the waitress So didn’t complain to much As she was the only one working
I had originally wanted their Lenten fish dinner But they were sold out a day or two ago
They also didn’t have any straws And I hate drinking out of a glass Because you never know how clean things are
He didn’t heat the turkey up Such a disappointing meal All I ate were the fries And still ended up paying full price for this mess
But just a reminder The waitress was awesome

Not a bad experience. My service from the waitress was good. She made me give the third star ⭐️ on my overall review. My food missed the mark and my steak was overcooked. This was my first time visiting this location. I wouldn’t do it again unless I have no choice. (I had no choice this time) The price was very reasonable so all in all I got what I paid for. I’ll probably be back next time I’m out of hours and have to reset.

It’s best days were a decade ago. Honestly, they never recovered after the draconian lock downs of 2020. It has taken them years to even be able to open up with regular hours, and they are finally serving on the weekends. Food is typical truck stop fare, and not terrible, but it really was so much better when they had their AYCE buffet years ago. I sure miss their salad bar, too…

I came in here expecting the worst from reading reviews. Very happy I decided to.
I’m not sure what people are expecting coming from this place, it’s like denny’s. Not some flashy fine dine establishment.
I took a gamble with the NY strip steak, eggs, loaded hash.
Read other reviews about overcooked steak so I ordered it a little rare (ordered medium rare came out medium well) no big deal. No it’s not the best steak in the world. Everything else was cooked fine. coffee hot, restaurant clean, what else could you want? people are to picky.

I was quite disappointed that I had to go to a register to make my order & pay first.. I’m mean what happened to normal traditions of sit down restaurant, where waitress come to you & pay at end of meal, that way customer can evaluate food & service, before deciding on amount to tip. Food ok, as expected.
I stopped by again got a burger & fries everything on it. I couldn’t help but notice hardly no onions on it ! Guess they run out? Service not so good, not like any restaurant I been to any where else. Customer has to order from register first, then go sit down. At least I not have to cook meal & do dishes.

Last Wednesday a nice couple invited a homeless woman to have breakfast with them. The manager told the waitress to tell the homeless woman to leave. The waitress would not do it and took their order. Then the manager boxed up the woman’s order and told the couple that he could not have her here. She was very respectful and talking quite with everyone. I say boycott the petro until they do better with the treatment of their fellow man and woman.
