I actually had a good experience here. Yes, was a bit slow due to two what looked like 16 years old serving everyone. Did they forget my drink for a while? Yes. Did they forget my ranch for a while? Yes. But my food came fast and was fresh and delicious. Those two kids were trying hard.

It is clean and roomy. The food is good. My only complaint is that they don’t bring you butter for your biscuits. Our waitress brought us another glass of tea before we finished the first one so she didn’t have to bother us anymore while we were eating. But when we were done, she was there to clean off the table and give us our ticket. As she did so, she told us there was no hurry. Whenever we were ready, we could take the ticket up and pay. It was really quite pleasant.

Service was very very slow. I got frustrated and went to get our menus by myself. It took double if not triple the time it usually takes a normal order to arrive. The prices are okay for the food, u get access to an unlimited salad bar and soup bar if u order a meal which is reasonable. The soup selection isn’t the best but the salad bar had alot of stuff. The server messed up my brothers order and we cancelled his because the food takes forever. The chicken tenders and fries aren’t the best. The place was kind of all over the place, they need to hire more people! The place could be good if it was managed a little bit better. The workers seems over worked and all over the place. Moral of the story, would not recommend.

The servers were very polite but the food was another topic, I ordered the chicken tenders and requested onion rings, they didn’t have any which is no big deal, it happens. When my food came to the table my French fries were cold which is not very good to say the least and my chicken tenders were mostly crispy breading and hardly any chicken. A couple of the tenders were cold as well. I get that it struck stop food and it’s not supposed to be top of the line dining but hot food is supposed to be hot. Also thebchicken tenders in my opinion need to be a little more chicken and a little less tender.

I never got to try the food because they took 20 minutes and they still cannot bring me a cup of coffee and I was the first person in the restaurant then they went to serving other people they came after me I’m sure they see me because I was calling on them like three or four times. I wanted to eat a hot breakfast and could not enjoy myself at all because they were taking so long I seen the manager come out, talking to the coaches, standing there, laughing and talking well people are trying to eat. People are in a hurry not always, but they seem like they just do not care. I pointed it out to the manager. You have to be a shame of yourself I don’t know how you keep business in here she needs to be fired is or somebody needs to be looking over her shoulder because she’s not doing her job.

I’ve always loved the Skillet, but as for this location, not again. I placed my order, and it took forever, then sat there waiting for her to bring it out as it got colder. When it was brought out, there was a dry, cold sirloin on the plate, I ordered chop steak. I tell her it’s wrong, she argued a little, saying that’s what I ordered. She finally goes back to have the chop steak made. It comes out burnt and over done.

Came here to eat A chicken fried steak dinner. The dinner was lousy. They don’t know how to cook food, the food was cold and the gravy was like water. It gave me a stomach ache. Going to give them another chance and wait to eat Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow.
