Ate there on Christmas Day as we have for the past few years, but this year was MUCH different. Took over 1.5 hours to get our food, it took my wife’s order for a simple club sandwich for almost two hours. When we got the food it was awful. We have a variety of different food orders so it wasn’t just one thing, it was ALL of it. The waitress started off extremely rude but got better during the 2 hour wait so I’ll give her that at least. Bathrooms and the store part were extremely dirty. The waitress said the wife’s club sandwich would be free but after we left (our fault) we realized we were still charged for it. It’s a shame this place has went downhill as it use to be a good place to eat. I’ve heard they’re under new ownership, not sure if that’s true or not? The menu size has also drastically reduced from what they used to offer. This was likely our last visit.

Stopped here after a long day driving in the snow, ordered a couple of things to go (pancake breakfast and pork chop meal). Service was great, but the food took almost an hour to come out with only a couple other tables in the restaurant. Got the pork chops and pancakes first (after about 45 minutes), but they forgot the eggs, sausage, and hash browns which took another 15 minutes or so. Finally got all the food back to my hotel to feed my wife and toddler to find they had forgotten to include the side of mac & cheese with the pork chops (which I payed an extra $2 for). We were too hungry and tired to do anything about it at this point, but after an hour wait I’m pretty disappointed.
The server was excellent and apologetic about the wait, and the food tasted good once we got into it, but if this is typical for the kitchen to take so long then I can’t recommend eating here.

My first time to eat at an Iron Skiiet. My burger was amazing! But I was so impressed with how clean the entire place was. Also the customer service was excellent!

We had ate here today for Christmas for breakfast, and it was the best meal I’ve had in a long time. It was so good I can’t get over it, and the waitress was really sweet and super attentive. Will definitely be back here !!

Took an hour to get our food. I ordered the country fried steak and eggs and the steak was so fried and oily and most of the hash brown was dark and burnt only took one bite and then told the waitress that the steak was too oily and she still charges us for it.

This place apparently has issues with management. They are always out of basic restaurant supply’s;such as ;ketchup, lemons, ranch dressing, tomatoes! How hard is it to place a supply order ???
Wait staff is always great ,my food is always good ,just never can have exactly what I want for lacking in ordering things lol !

Used to stop here regularly for a meal but since the change over to the new menu within the last year the food has gone down hill. Tonight the first three things I asked for were unavailable. The truck didn’t make it was the excuse for very little food they had available.i honestly would have been more satisfied if I had just gone over to subway or a burger shop. Its a sad day that TA/Petro have gone down hill so bad. At least the one in wapakoneta is still decent food.

I have to say the salad bar was the best, it had blueberries, strawberries and cantaloupe. The plates are either cold or warm, only thing they didnt have at the all you can eat salad bar was soft serve ice cream. Staff seemed really friendly, especially the one with the fake tan.

Service was good, food was good. They need to update menus. Shows meals with garlic bread in the pictures and in the wording on the menu. Staff said they don’t serve garlic bread anymore. Not many options for a vegitarian but I pieced together some side options to make my meal work. Wife had chicken parm. She said it was good and 2 people could eat her meal and be full. Only issue ….Update your menus or start servicing garlic bread. Check out the pictures.

Hello everyone. Let me tell you about the service I received at the Iron Skillet located adjacent to the Petro Truck Stop. They have a waitress here by the name of Tabitha, (no, not from the TV show or movie Bewitched). However, she is magical in a sense. Her aura and service is whimsical. The most pleasant and professional waitress I’ve had to serve me in a very long time. The food was delicious and so was the desert. The Salmon I wanted was taken off the menu, along with other items, but the grilled Cod did the trick. I had a sweet tea to drink but Tabitha is the real sweet T. I hadn’t thought about desert until she asked and I decided on the slice of Strawberry Cheese Cake. That made my meal complete. I think the manager or Owner should give Tabitha a raise in pay for the excellent service she delivers. Thank you Tabitha for an enjoyable meal experience.
