This is what I hoped to find in the south. Legit BBQ and sides with well-seasoned, smoked meats. They’re physically chopping the wood to feed the smoker which is the stream engine pictured.

The next time you find yourself wondering where to get the best BBQ in Georgia, just head on over to the Iron Pig! No frills, no fuss, just amazing, sticky, slow cooked, tender yumminess. Also, the best baked beans I’ve ever tasted…everyone should check this place out!

Apparently this place has a habit of lying and not cooking menu items. I should have read reviews before being shocked. The staff was great, the food is inedible. Pulled pork is carpet soaked in vinegar. Beans were canned with other raw beans added. Not even going to comment on the slaw because that would mean acknowledging what they serve is slaw when it isn’t.

The pulled pork sandwiches were delicious. The two young ladies working there were friendly and cheerful even though the air conditioner was out on a really warm day They stayed so positive.

Iron Pig has a decent BBQ for the price. But, every time we go, they’re always sold out of something. At this point, pulled pork is the only thing available on the menu. They’re dog friendly, which is nice.

Love the style of this place. 100% local “shack” slightly off the main street. Had the Briaket sandwich plate and the Pulled pork sandwich plate. The Brisket was so dry I couldn’t finish it. I added more BBQ sauce, but it didn’t help. The pulled pork was sooooo nice and tender. Beans were the best I’ve ever had.

A friend brought me a BBQsandwich plate. Sandwich was full of meat which was ok. Slaw & stew was not much to it! I myself will probably not go back.

Most disgusting bbq I’ve ever eaten. They were out of everything except pulled pork and it wasn’t even 1pm and dead slow. They just didn’t make any food. Pulled pork was dog food. Hard chewy under smoked trash meat. Cole slaw would gag a maggot, and the Brunswick stew is ketchup and store bought canned soup with a lb of sugar I’m sure of it. They girl ringing me up was very pleasant and professional. That was only good part of the experience. Place is nasty ad well. Like eating a sack lunch in a junkyard.

Wonderful food, wonderful people! Be sure and stop by the Pig, even if it’s just a little bit out of the way. I came from Winder, it was well worth the trip! Smoky pork, stew, slaw and the best beans you’ve ever had! You won’t be disappointed, I guarantee!
