I traveled out to the Iron House bar & grill in cortland Ohio the other evening. Upon arrival I did notice all the festive Christmas decorations. Parking wasn’t an issue, nice spacious lot with lots of spots. Once inside it was self seating. My seating options were at the bar, booth or hi-top table. I always go for a table. My server upon seeing me, came right over and asked my drink preference. I asked if they had cherry soda. He informed me they didn’t, but he could make me one. Well done my friend….well done!!! He then returned with one tasty cherry pop and took my dinner order, he was super friendly & accommodating. The menu was a great selection of comfort/bar foods, burgers, wings, entrees & sandwiches. I loved the atmosphere, very chill, a neighborhood bar for sure. It had a proper bar, well stocked with liquor & beers. Every wall had a few TV’s on it, a great place to catch the game & good food. My meal was perfect, the burger tasted wonderful. I really enjoyed my dining experience here. I will definitely return in the future for dinner or to watch the game. I recommend you check this place out.

Beer is cold and the food is always been good. If you are thinking you should put the sassy tia chilli sauce on anything than just do it. That stuff is delicious.

Great service, poor food. The gyro was subpar, with a stale pita that fell apart. Lately, the chicken in the rice bowls has been tough. It’s hard to find a consistently good entrée lately.

Fantastic place! I took a friend here on a whim and were extremely satisfied! Not only the pleasant atmosphere, our server Stacie was the best server I’ve ever had at any sit down place! Very reasonable on prices too! Excellent food too! Especially the burgers and fries! We made it a point to thank the cook for his well done builds! Definitely coming to this place more often whenever I get the chance!

I met a friend at the Iron House for dinner last night. It was our first time there. We had a few drinks and entrees. I had the seafood combo and he had a burger. It was a fairly busy dining room and there was only one server, Erica. Erica was delightful! Despite being the only waitress in the dining room she took very good care of us. Erica made sure to check in to make sure everything was good. Great job Erica! The food was fantastic! Both of our dinners were cooked perfectly and the wait time was very reasonable. I am definitely going to return!

Great service. Food mediocre. One philly stake and fried shrimp with some drinks costs us $70. Fried shrimp looked like it was from Aldi’s, stake was ok, but not perfect. Enjoyed the drinks.
