this place was better with the old management. tomas, laura, heather, morgan, jerome, krista, bianca, and the kitchen staff were the reason that people came here!! they knew how to run this place. heather and tomas always made great drinks. krista, jerome, morgan, and bianca always had great service and everyone overall had an amazing attitude. new management doesn’t seem to know what they are doing. new management is turning this into the dunwoody tavern and that’s not a good thing… bring the original people back asap, thanks!!

We really enjoyed the Iron Horse Tavern. It has a really good selection of meal options from traditional pub favorites, like Fish & Chips and Cottage Pie, to contemporary favorites like Tacos and Chicken Fingers. The Beer selection was quite good and the Staff was friendly and took great care of us.

I really wanted to love this place! It’s got a great vibe, and the servers are so friendly! Unfortunately, their menu isn’t very friendly to people with dietary restrictions. I guess it’s on me for making some assumptions, but they didn’t have corn tortillas for the tacos, and they wouldn’t make it a bowl. They had salads but it sucks when salad is the only thing you can get if you’re gluten free. Their seasonal drinks menu was also outdated, which was disappointing–I was super excited to try the sugar cookie martini, but after ordering it turns out they weren’t serving them anymore and just hadn’t updated the menus. I would give them another shot if they updated the menus a bit!

While the service could use some work (they tried their best), this place was surprisingly nice. The Grilled chicken quesadilla was finger-licking good! Well seasoned and just the right amount of buttery. It was served with sour cream, pico de gallo, and salsa.. all of which went great on the quesadilla. I ordered a glass of Pinot Noir to pair with it… and well… I drank it. It was clearly open for quite some time but it got the job done. lol

They used to have the best chicken tenders, I thought they were made in house. They’ve switched them to a lesser brand. Taste is subpar, they look like what I’d buy from the frozen section at Walmart. $15+ for grocery store chicken tenders, very disappointing. Their food is typically delicious, but this ain’t it.
