Iron District NKC houses Iron Grill and others. Had BBQ KC with extra patty. Shared large fries with the wife. This was amazing food! Burger was perfectly grilled, fries extra crisp. Tried the house special sauce; I liked it, she didn’t but that’s not her thing. Can’t wait to go back!

I’ve been here twice now and intend on going again, as I conveniently work in the area. As someone who keeps a running list of every burger place I’ve tried from California to New York City, I can say with quite a bit of confidence, that this is THE best burger I’ve ever had. Comes out fresh with some very nice crispy edges, without sacrificing any moisture in the burger. Not sure what their secret is (or if there even is one), but they found a way to get the crispiness of some of the best smash burgers I’ve had, while maintaining the same amount of juicy-ness that you’ll find in some bigger top notch chains like a 5 Guys. Even more impressive that they’ve accomplished this just a short walk from Tay’s Burger Shack, another excellent Burger place in KC. But for my money, Iron Grill has yet to disappoint.

Iron Grill is absolutely fire (amazing). I had the #3 Mushroom and Swiss and completely eat every bit and the taste was unique and very tasty. The fries are equally as good. If you like smash burgers… this is your place. Best mushroom and Swiss I have EVER had.. Truly amazing, definitely be back for some more.. well done. Found another hidden gem in ❤KC

I do enjoy my burgers, and this is another great burger in town! It’s in a cool little “container” entertainment district. It’s a great place to enjoy the outside, weather permitting.
The burgers are hot, juicy, and perfect. Nice soft buns and great ingredients. The onion rights were a nice golden brown batter fried to the correct crispness.
It’s a little pricey,but definitely a nice spot.

When people ask what my favorite burger place is in Kansas City, I will tell them Iron Grill! The NKC burger was literally the best burger of my life. It’s a smash burger, so don’t expect some big fat patty… But the way the edges were crispy and yet juicy… this burger lives rent-free in my mind. Go get one, now!!

Went for the first time today. Got the classic with double meat. Absolutely great burger. 50/50 fry and ring combo is the way to go. Both are fantastic. Will definitely be back.

Enjoying a burger on the deck at North Kansas City’s Iron District is an incredible experience! If you order the District Burger, you won’t need any fries. It wasn’t as flavorful as my heart desired, but it’s nothing to cry about. Whatever it lacks in seasoning, it makes up for in size. The burger is so enormous that the smash patties don’t even fit within the circumference of the bun! Perhaps my stomach had shrunk, but I couldn’t finish the entire burger and had to bring the other half home. That said, there’s nothing quite like savoring a fresh burger while feeling a gentle breeze on the patio.
