I got the burger with beer cheese and ordered it medium rare. It was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. We also shared the fried onion appetizer and a side of fries, both were great. The chicken chunks were a standout! We tried the honey BBQ and Jamaican jerk sauces, and both were absolutely amazing. Our total was $56 for just the food, no drinks, and everything was worth it. Great experience overall!

Ate there today, party of two. We ordered tenders and tots, and traditional wings. Tenders were good, tots were cooked crispy which I like. The wings on the other hand, they came out hot on the outside but were VERY underdone. I have a stomach of steel and I’m 34 years old and have never sent back or even complained about wings before in my life while eating out. I let my waitress know we’re doing okay but my wings were underdone. She replied with “can I grab you two anything else, napkins,?”. I let her know we needed ketchup and thought she’d come back addressing the wings. When she left to grab ketchup my wife said, “well she blew right past your comment” lol! I’m very laid back and kind of blew it off. She never asked if I’d like them remade. I decided to just try to eat around some of the parts that were too overwhelmingly rubbery. As I continued to pick around them, I came upon three wings that were very pink in the middle. At this point I’m not asking for another order, I’d already mentioned it and we were ready to go. Asked the waitress if she could take half off the wing order as I’d been able to eat about 50% of them due to them being undercooked. Again, not one to even ask but I physically could not eat them due to the excessive force it took to rip the rubbery chicken off the bone and the large amount of pink in the actual meat. Waitress told me the manager said we could do 10%. I was a bit taken aback with that response. I asked to speak to the manager and she said she COULD NOT take 50% off, the best she can do is 10%. I wasn’t really asking for an option, I was telling her to take 50% off but it’s fine. She said since I ate it, that’s the best she could do. When I had let the manager know I attempted to tell the waitress, she retorted that “the waitress said you said they were fine”. This is absolutely not the case. As if I’m trying to swindle them for that $5 ? It’s the principle. She also told me they were not underdone, they temp the wings at 200*F and that it’s the vein blood (sounds like a very well rehearsed response if you ask me, seems like they’ve been told this before). I chuckled, as I’ve worked back of house for 15 years of my life cooking wings at my families well established restaurant. Cool pink meat that is rubbery is NOT just “vein blood”. Maybe she’s referring to myoglobin which can tinge the bone slightly pink. Not the meat. The vein in cooked wings comes out a dark brownish color. The MEAT was pink. The manager left a sour taste in my mouth by arguing my experience, as if she ate the wings herself. Most places would immediately comp the item and carry on. I asked for 50% off due to eating some (bc my waiter failed to address my concern) and was basically called a liar. It sounds like maybe they need the money they would have comped more than I do. The waitress was new but was really nice. Either she didn’t want to get in trouble or it was just a misunderstanding. I could have just not tipped to recoup that money I asked them to take off the bill, but I still tipped her 18%. I’m typically a large tipper and I consider 18% low. Some words of advice, something that my family uses in our restaurant, is that the customer is always right. You’ll make more on your returns with customers feeling like their issue was remedied more than you will if you fail to listen to your customers and telling them they’re wrong. Losing $5 today may make you $300 future if you handle a situation correctly. Now, I likely won’t be back due to the way it was handled.

Got invited to go to Iron City on Friday. Having never been, was looking forward to finding a new place to eat. Right from the beginning, we should have left. Five good size people were expected to sit at a booth that may have fit four. We inquired about adding a chair at the end of the booth. No, would be a fire hazard although we did notice a chair was added for another booth later on. When we asked to move from the booth, the hostess waiting on us was not only rude, but offered no solution to our predicament. A 4-person low table was available but she said there were no additional low chairs. A long high top table was available but we couldn’t sit there because a party “might” come in. After several minutes of waiting and deciding to leave, another hostess came over and told us to sit at the long table, which we did. The only thing that saved the entire evening was our server. An extremely pleasant, funny, and efficient young man, he made the remainder of our stay enjoyable. Not sure if we will try Iron City again. Mental note: incapable of seating parties over four.

Have visited this establishment on many occasions, two weeks ago visited for lunch and when I wanted one of the two of my favorite menu items our server explained the owner had removed the Philly cheesesteak off the menu. Okay, no big deal I’ll have the goat burger then but was once again told the owner has removed this item from the menu as well. The proprietor of this establishment is well in his rights to change any menu items he or she deems fit to remove. I’m the guy that gets the same thing every visit, I’ve seem to have now lost one of my favorite dining spots. To the proprietor of this establishment, please reconsider putting these two menu items back on the menu.

First visit. Atmosphere was pleasant and comfortable. Plenty of tv’s. Service was friendly. Had appetizers of fried pickles, pretzel bites and chips /salsa. All were good.
Restroom clean.
Boneless wings were tasty and plenty of chicken. Wife had steak that was cooked to her order but not outstanding in flavor. I had triple decker sandwich. It was huge and flavorful. Couldn’t eat it all. Tater tots were crispy.
We intend to rerun some day but the experience wasn’t exceptional.

This was our first time eating at Iron City. My husband and I had a good experience. The food was good. We got the onion petals appetizer which were good. Not amazing, but good. I got the western rodeo burger which was very good and huge! With a side of tots. And they did not skimp on the tots. My husband got pulled pork. He said it could have more sauce but it really good. We couldn’t even finish all our food. All in all a very nice place. We will go back eventually and I recommend it.

I wouldn’t know how the food was because I was unable to be seated. We had a large party and was willing to wait. I tried to suggest to the lady ( maybe manger ) that we can sit at an empty table and wait for other tables to open up and we would all be close together. She cut me off and said “I am not seating you and move you”, answered the phone and walked away. Very rude!! We took our business elsewhere and will never go back! Be careful who you leave in charge of your business!

Recently dined at Iron City Sports Bar and had a great experience. Ordered 10 boneless wings with chipotle BBQ and sweet house hot flavors, and 15 bone-in wings with mango habanero and sweet house hot. Both were generously sized and sauced perfectly. The Staff was friendly, especially with my son, and service was prompt. The atmosphere is relaxed with ample seating and plenty of TVs for sports enthusiasts. Clean facilities and overall, a top-notch spot.

My husband and I stopped in for my birthday dinner and a few drinks. I got the 8 oz sirloin with mushrooms and onions, garlic mashed potatoes and a side salad. He had the 12 oz New York Strip with the same sides. To say the steak was the best that we have had out somewhere in years is an understatement. They were both cooked and seasoned to perfection, Juicy, and so tender. The cook even came out to see how our food was. The portions were perfect as well and the potatoes were made with red potatoes which added a special touch. I had the 1800 watermellon margarita and it was so good as well. It tasted like a watermellon jollyrancher. Our waitress and service was excellent as well. We always enjoy ourselves here but this is our first time trying the steak and I have to say you should save your money going out of town because the best steak is right here in our hometown❤ Thanks for a wonderful dinner and night Iron City
