A great stop for breakfast at a cozy and inviting establishment. My husband and I were visiting the area for a quiet week and searching for a perfect place (not something old, tired and generic) for a warm and hearty start to the day. On the way we learned of this place and it sounded right up our alley! It was one of the neatest stops we made in a week. Delicious Eggs cooked exactly as ordered, the best crispy bacon, amazing yummy home fries “all the way”, whole wheat toast and biscuits with butter, excellent hot coffee and the most friendly service!!! If ever back in the area, we will return! The general store was fun to shop, too! We even picked up a few gifts for a loved one. Highly recommend the The Iron Bridge General Store and Cafe!! 5

My wife and I are both combat veterans. Yesterday, we were very rudely denied service by the woman inside due to having a service animal. I explained that the dog is a true service dog, not just a dog with a vest. Our service animal is a neurological alert dog. First, it is ILLEGAL to not allow a service animal into ANY establishment. We did not push the issue and left since we had planned to have breadfast. No telling what they would have done to the food in the back.

Great place for a quick bite! The staff was very friendly and the food was great! Husband had a double cheeseburger and I had the catfish sandwich. Prices were reasonable and they had a good selection of grocery items as well.
