Great new place to stop in and get a bite to eat! I had a loaded baked potato with pulled chicken and Mac n cheese on the side, really good! Next time I am going to try the brisket sandwich! Great atmosphere to hang out, take some pics and relax! They have a train theme going to reflect the history of Marrietta.
You have to try this place out, for sure!

Ok the two pound potato is insane! Crazy Smokey flavor they won’t tell me how they did it. The owners are an amazing part of the community and always helping. Showed up for the minithon today. Best ribs I’ve ever had. The whole atmosphere was amazing too. My new favorite spot!

We tried the pulled pork baked potato (huge potato!), the trio tacos, and some mac and cheese. Everything was delicious and filling. The staff was very hospitable and they helped to occupy our one year old while we ate. So happy to have a new small business in town, and can’t wait to stop in often!

Iron Born is what I’d consider ‘fast casual’, you order at a register, get a table number card, and choose your seat. If you order a drink, you get it from the fountain yourself. Once your food’s done it’s brought to you and from there you’re left alone. I was pretty pumped to see this in Marietta, the atmosphere is great and the speed of service makes it a good option for a quick lunch. The store is clean and modern, and I love the tie in to the ‘rail trail’ access Marietta is known for. It was pretty hot in there when we came in on opening day, you could definitely feel the heat of the kitchen through the open concept floorplan.

We ordered the Sleeper Skillet, Loaded Baked Potato, Baked Beans and Cheese Curds.

The Sleeper Skillet was good. The portion is reasonable, the mac is pretty average, the brisket was good, and the sauce was great.

The baked potato was good as well, definitely oven baked, and massive. There were dark lines running through the potato where they had stabbed it for steam release, which was somewhat off putting until we realized what they were. Could have used more butter, but that comes down to preference.

The baked beans were good, not super spicy which is our preference. As a side, the portion was fine.

The air fried cheese curds were definitely the weakest part of the meal. I appreciate the desire to air fry, I cant hate that, but they came out very blonde and sort of in a sad sagging pile, not really “golden + crispy” like you might hope for normally. We also found it sort of odd to not have them come with some sort of dip, usually you’d see marinara or a garlic ranch, etc. The combo of air frying and no dip made them a definite skip for next time.

Congrats to Iron Born on opening, we’ll be rooting for your success!

Walking in the door we were greeted by friendly smiling staff. The aroma of the food was amazing. Ordering was easy and the food came out nicely presented and staff again was very friendly, although not a waitress style they continued checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed and our dominos were full. The food was amazing! The only thing I would recommend is chaining up the cheese curds. Will definitely visit again!

I was hopeful to support a new, small business while passing through but this couldn’t have been more disappointing. Way too expensive for amount and quality of food. I wish I had taken a picture before I started eating but for 18 dollars this was horrible. Mac and cheese is not homemade which is evident the second you see it and skimped on brisket size on top of serving of mac and cheese. Would not got back or recommend to anyone who lives in the area.

My husband and I tried this restaurant for the first time over the weekend. I tried the brisket skillet and my husband had wings and the brisket sandwich with macaroni and cheese. We both enjoyed everything along with the atmosphere and the service! We highly recommend this Bistro.
