Iron Bar & Lounge is a great budget‑friendly spot in Midtown—perfect for hanging out, catching a game, and enjoying good food and drinks. With over 20 TV screens and a lively sports‑bar vibe, it’s an ideal place to enjoy sports with friends. The food and drinks are impressive, and the atmosphere is friendly, making it a fun and casual place to relax near Times Square.

It was my first day in NY, and the same evening I came to this place. It has really good vibes. The hookah maker was super nice to me. I didn’t like the first shisha I ordered, but he happily offered me a new one, and I really enjoyed it.
Definitely going to visit this hookah bar again while I’m here in NY.
It’s very close to to times Square, less than in 10 minutes walk. Highly recommend
Food, I didn’t try so can’t rate, but the service, drink and atmosphere is great 5 stars.

Great customer service. Food was typical of a sports bar. Atmosphere was really nice. Played alot of R&B, which we liked. Hookah was good as well. Customer service was top notch. Drinks were good too.

I went out with my girlfriends and we were ending our night here. The only reason I am giving 2 stars was due to the music — the DJ was great Saturday night. The place has so much potential if the waitress wasn’t so busy trying to earn her tips from the men at the location versus providing everyone with the same level of service. Unfortunately, they add mandatory gratuity of 20% that she definitely didn’t earn from my table. I also couldn’t leave a review on the same day since I was served prosecco that had gone bad and was throwing up the whole night. Also my other friend that had the prosecco was also throwing up all night. I knew it tasted funny but I thought it was because it was cheaper. Sadly, I was wrong. I will not be coming here again.

The hookah is an absolute joke. The coal started falling apart and I asked for pliers and the guy got rude and didn’t want to give pliers and shouted at us that he has never seen pliers for a hookah. So this guy has no clue at all because you need to get rid of the ash or it’ll go in the tobacco and into your lungs. Keep in mind there is an automatic 20% gratuity to the whole check if you order a hookah. I understand why; the service for this is so bad no one would even tip a dollar. Worst service ever. I feel like a Karen writing this but this is literally the first 1 Star review I have ever given.

I can only recommend to look for another bar – don’t go here

I was really impressed by this bar! We stopped in here for a few drinks and an appetizer before a Broadway show we were seeing last weekend. There was plenty of space available inside, and we didn’t feel cramped at all. The drink selection was vast, as were the appetizer selections. The wait staff were attentive, and the service was quick. Prices very reasonable for Midtown Manhattan. I will return.

A great after work spot. Very laid back and chill. Music was on point! Dj had folks bumping and doing a sing along. Drinks were great. Happy Hour is from 4 to 7pm. Decent options. Regular price your paying standard NYC bar pricing $15 and up. Bar food is decent. $15 and up.

UPDATE

I use to love it here. I usually get the great gasby or a classic margarita with salt and to eat we get the sample platter. Other than that let me say that this is the second time I have a terrible interaction with a server. His attitude is MISERABLE. It’s always like he’s bothered when approached. I will be posting a picture of him since I don’t have his name.

1:30am on 2/1 heavyset bartender with hair shorter than shoulders doesn’t know how to work the bar. She stayed in the center and didn’t budge or look over to see if anyone at the bar needed anything. We had towalk over to her to ask for our drinks. We had a long wait time then she made the drinks and left them on the bar far away from us and kept chatting and tending to other people. I had to literally shout out to her for her to bring the drinks. Her attitude was gross just like her drinks. You could see on others faces that they noticed her attitude as well.

Fun atmosphere! Good music, loud. Maybe not ideal for a quiet dinner. Service was good, food was awesome! Black bean burger is homemade. Ordered my burger medium rare and it actually came medium rare, bonus!! Would go back for sure.

We were looking for a place to eat and seen this place. It looked appealing for what we were looking for. The service was really good. I ordered a cheese burger medium well and it came out a little uncooked. The French fries were amazing. Overall all I would still recommend this place
