A friendly welcome, great ambiance. Varied menu choices and time was given to make our choices.
We both opted for the prime rib, not something I would usually choose but a regular order for my husband! This included one choice of side and soup or a trip to the salad bar. The salad bar was not huge but it was tasty, and the plates were a decent size . The prime rib was very good although the fries were not to my liking, and husbands choice of vegetables was carrots which certainly looked as though they were prepacked and not house prepared.
There was plenty of time to absorb the atmosphere and relax between courses. (Some would say service was slow but it was nice not to to be rushed in my opinion)

Awesome restaurant! We had the breakfast buffet and could not have left happier. Be sure to ask about the bartop and some of the rifles and pistols. The staff were very accommodating to us.
A must stop during your trip through Cody.

Very cool restaurant with good food and good service. It gets very busy, even on a Monday night but seating it generally quick.

The Irma is an historic restaurant named after Buffalo Bill’s daughter. It is historic, built in 1902, and retains that historic appearance throughout. Enjoy it for what it is! Be sure to check out the bar, a gift from Queen Victoria. There is a large dining room capable of accomodating a couple, large groups, or even seating at the bar, as well as a private dining room that can be rented for smaller parties. They have a great menu for all tastes, and a nice buffet in the summer months. They have an outdoor porch with snacks and drinks, and a separate indoor bar with fireplace. They host a gunfight show nightly in the summer months as well as live music throughout the year.

Went for lunch….Burgers- Pretty sure the were pre-made frozen burgers… not good at all especially for the price. The Irma potatoes weren’t bad… broccoli soup wasn’t great either…
Our group got supper buffet one night and again- subpar food. The only good thing was the tortellini and the bread pudding w/whiskey sauce- it looked horrible but it was delicious ..
Don’t recommend – maybe their other food would’ve been better… try it yourself and decide…

Came here while staying in town. They decorate it really well and it is a beautiful building that’s well maintained and is cared for. Food was pretty excellent. Their steak is great quality and was grilled to perfection. Salad bar was decent and had a great variety of toppings and dressing options. Staff is also very kind and we felt the wait times were very reasonable. Would come again.

The most important thing first, the food was great. All the beef dishes were cooked just as we ordered. My prime rib was great, full of a strong beef flavor, and those that ordered the prime rib gave rave reviews. Service was fast and attentive. We also got to try Sarsaparilla for the first time and we discovered a new drink we all like. It in every out this way again, I will be stopping in.

This place is Rich with History and definitely is a memorabilia for the city of cody. Now I was there for lunch and was definitely not impressed with the food. If there is one Item that will take me back there is the short ribs appetizer. That was surprisingly really good. Had a Ruben sandwich and it was extremely dry and unappetizing Sweet potato fries were filled with oil and was not thoroughly fried. I usually steer away from posting bad review but I had to be honest here, ordered a steak medium well and it was extremely dry and over cooked. “My quote about this place is that the history is better than the food.” Might just turn it to a museum and have the food as optional.

Definitely a worthwhile stop in Cody! I fell hard for their creamed spinach and ham soup, my husband loved the chili and prime rib. The atmosphere was one of a kind and the history behind the place is very intriguing. I enjoyed just walking around to see the place and check out all the animals on the walls. Our waitress was excellent and made our night, she was very funny. Overall it’s almost a must see due to history and it was just a cool experience in general.
