Our original waitress not so good, the other that seem to pick up the slack was great. Thats the problem when they split tips. The better was tipped on the side. Besides that, the food & atmosphere was great!

4/2023 Staff are always super friendly. Saturday karaoke nights (starts at 9pm till close, submit your requested song online) are a blast and frequently full.

We got a Boxty, the Shepards Pie, the pretzel sticks with beer cheese, and the spinach and artichoke dip with
Chips. The Boxty and the pretzels were the better choices. Unfortunately everything was just okay. The chips for the dip were to salty and the shepards pie had an overwhelming seasoning flavor that I believe was rosemary but I’m not sure. We will probably try 1 more time to see if maybe it was just a meal choice issue.

Been a regular customer for over 8 years and won’t be recommending IT or going out of my way to come back. The food quality has dropped substantially while prices are higher than ever. Chicken Boxty was always the go to and now they’re hard to eat (chicken is like rubber) and fries are an additional upcharge now. You’re paying ~$18 for a Boxty now… Service, and atmosphere about the same other than the loss of other regulars we saw coming here for years. Get your act together IT, you’ve really fallen off a cliff.

Stopped for the fish and chips after seeing a vote of best. The fried fish/cod was very good. Not greasy. The Irish Tavern was out of French Fries however offerred alternatives. The homemade chips were crunchy and tasty. Varied drink and food menus. There are plenty of parking spaces. Restroom available/handicap accessible. Located 4703 Elizabeth Lake Rd. in Waterford Twp., Michigan.
