The menu offers a wide variety of options and the staff is friendly and attentive. They also have a full bar and they have keno if you’re into that.
The vibe of this place was pretty awesome as well. I noticed it was kind of bright inside and halfway through our meal they dimmed the lights a bit which helped.
Overall everything was really good! I loved that they have a scan to pay option so you don’t have to wait for the waitress to cash you out.
My friend has been telling me to try their coney dog for months because it’s so good! He was right! One of the best coney sauces I’ve had in town besides Meldrum’s! The Rueben flatbread was phenomenal!

Our food was mediocre. I had the Sloppy Irish man sandwich and it was greasy, tough meat. The cole slaw was good and so we’re the 9 French fries on the sandwich. We had been here before it became Lobys and it was good. And we frequently go to the Lobys in Canton and have never had a bad meal. I don’t know if we were at the Irish Lobys on a bad day or what. But it was disappointing.

The wings were chewy and not crisp like they used to be. The pizza was doughy and had 0 flavor. The steak was cooked right, but the quality was terrible, and the salad was all rine. This is a place I used to love when it was run by the original owners that I went to for over 30 years. Now that Lobys owns it…its not anywhere close to the same. The food has been below average at best. Same with the service. If you have fond memories of the old Irish, you will be highly disappointed with this version. It’s not the same at all. Even the fries were undercooked and soggy with grease. I gave this place a second chance only to have the same poor experience. I wont be back.

A frew things about this place. The Irish Exchange has been around since I moved back 40 years ago. Love it. Worth a go. Chop Stix Chinese restaurant the plaza is one of the best around. We order take out. Pass a few others on the way. My kids fav. Both have very friendly staff and fast service. Food served hot and delicious. You can eat in as well.
