We did not care for the rice. The beans tasted like they came out of a can. There’s no way they serve canned beans there, but they sure captured the taste. Though our waitress was nice, she was unavailable anytime we needed her. We had to ask for everything we needed. Now that the negative stuff is out of the way, we loved the green chile. My wife loved the tacos. The cheese crisp was probably the best I’ve ever had. We loved the chips. My wife loved the salsa, but I did not. There’s something sweet in a lot of the salsas in the Globe/Miami area. I don’t like it. But that’s just a personal preference. We met the owner as we were leaving. She could not have been more gracious. I know what I like there now, so we will definitely be back. They just need to work on attentiveness by the wait staff. If they get this figured out, I will change it to five stars.

We had a great meal at Irene’s last night, consisting of a green chili crisp and a chicken chimichanga. Both were tasty and the server was great, taking the time to tell me how the crisps are made. Not much to it but I’ll certainly try it at home because they were delicious. The other thing I really appreciated was the fact the restaurant was as clean as it could possibly be with none of the sticky tables and floors and dog eared menus one often finds. The restaurant itself is somewhat humble but generally had the look of being owned and operated by people who take a great deal of pride in what they are doing. Give it a shot, I bet you will like it!

Place is cool . Staff is friendly. This place is supposedly famous for their wings but I didn’t think much of them at all. Another night I ordered chicken fajitas and it look like a bunch of chunks of chicken thrown into a container with rice and beans . No onions or peppers that usually come with ordering fajitas. But on a the positive side bacon cheese burger is great love the thick fries and their Ranch is amazing!

Food was pretty disparaging after a long flight. No meat hardly on the enchilada, salsa tasted like lunchables marinara mixed with Tex mex seasoning and cilantro. Friend got shrimp and it was rubbery. Beers were warm and so was the restaurant. Service was friendly was about the only good point about the place.

Took my daughter to dinner. Spent $40 for the two of us and a to go burger for my son. My daughter LOVED her burger. She cleared off her entire plate, which is amazing haha. My burrito was okay. And I wasn’t a huge fan of the salsa. But overall, no major issues or any complaints.

1 st time there, I was with my son out for a motorcycle ride. Stopped in by chance and had an amazing lunch. 2nd time there, I was with my wife who is extremely picky with her food. To my surprise she was delighted by the meal we had. It is now a must that we stop, every time we are in the area.

Home food ❤️. It’s a must stop when I visit. If I can’t dine in, then I take it to go. Food is always great! Staff is very attentive and the food is brought out very quickly. Don’t forget the cheese crisp to start!
