I had to do some business in lakewood and I looked around for a local pizzeria and what I found was a diamond in the rough. The service and the food was exceptional. From the moment I walked in to ordering my food I felt at home. I am not sure of the name of the cheese slice I ordered with sesame seeds but I want to order a whole pie! Thank you guys for being magicians in the kitchen and providing exceptional service. Do you guys sell a pie of this slice? I will make the 1 hour commute just for this alone.

The warm welcome they gave to me as a stranger, leading up to ordering my food and watching what was being served… I fell in love with this restaurant after eating the food. The clientele in the restaurant call Ippolito’s a best kept secret in Lakewood. Finally an Italian restaurant that is 100% old fashioned quality. Their reputation is only second to their food.

This establishment is hands down, the best I’ve ever experienced out of NJ & NY!! I say this for a few reasons. One, because every time you walk in that door you are treated with respect and feel like family. And two, not only are the ingredients imported and top quality but everything is made with love.

Came here from out of town because my family recommended it. Ordered a bunch of different take out items. Food was delicious! Prices and portion sizes were good. Pizza was SO TASTY…especially bruschetta slice. Seems like a great place to become a usual at.

Not only the best pizza (by far) but also incredible owners. Pasquale and his whole family really make you feel as if you are a part of their family as well! Anytime we are in town we try to make it a point to stop by for lunch. It’s always a wonderful experience from the food to the friendly conversation and laughs. We love this place! 🙂

This place was recommended by some “locals”, so we dropped in for a late lunch. The servers were very friendly, as was the owner. This is a “local fave”, yet we certainly felt very welcome. We ordered an antipasto and a large sausage pizza, and since it was 92 degrees outside, 2 large waters with ice. The antipasto was huge and more than enough for both of us, and came with warm Italian bread and butter. Everything was flavorful and fresh. The pizza came piping hot, and the owner served the first 2 slices to us. The crust was thin and crisp and the cheese and sausage were abundant. The pizza tasted great. The cost of our meal was $33 (not cheap), but the serving sizes and quality make it quite worth it! Although we didn’t drink, it’s also a BYOB.

Finally tried Ippolito’s & we’re mad at ourselves for not doing it sooner! we are new to the area & tried places a bit closer to us but none were even passable. Ippolito’s pizza is wonderful! Thin, tasty crust, fresh homemade sauce & cooked perfectly. Cheesesteaks were equally delicious. Only ordered from them couple times so far but looking forward to trying many other pizzas, sandwiches & entrees at our new go-to Italian place!
