The Zozo Shrimp and the salad was probably the only good thing that my husband and I had. His chicken parm tasted like the sauce has been burnt. It just tasted very bitter. My chicken Alfredo didn’t have enough sauce or chicken, perhaps if the chicken was cut smaller it would’ve been better.
As for the restaurant itself, it’s a cute location. I think they get more business than they anticipated when they picked the location because the inside is very crowded and small. The tables do look nice. And staff was friendly but busy, she was so busy that she’d walk away before hearing the rest of the order at times. But she was very nice. Overall I’d probably order the shrimp and/or salad to go. I wouldn’t dine in again. Spent $100+ and was mad.

We made reservations and glad we did! We overheard people being told it was going to be 2.5-3 hours wait… the experience was worth it and so was the food. The staff was knowledgeable and attentive.
We started with the calamari which was cooked well and came with two sauces. It wasn’t rubbery at all and both sauces were flavorful.
I had the veal Parmesan. It was delicious and there were two good sized pieces of veal on top of the noodles. The edges did get slightly over cooked in some areas but not enough to send it back. My husband had the veal marsala which was also delicious.
We were given house bread with oil and tomatoes which was a nice break after the appetizer while we waited for the salad and dinner. The house salad was unexpectedly flavorful.

Final meal of my weeklong trip in Indy, and this by far was the best meal I’ve had. My waitress Sarah was cheerful, helpful, and friendly. The rest of the staff were very attentive and they even went so far as to offer me some focaccia to soak up the last of the sauce from my entree, so it really does feel like an Italian trying to stuff you with the best they had to offer. I could not think of a single complaint despite knowing one usually signifies realism to a review.

Really enjoyed my dinner here. The atmosphere is cozy, the service is warm, and the food was excellent. The shrimp entrée was my favorite — perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and honestly the highlight of the night. Everything tasted fresh and well prepared. I’d definitely come back.

The restaurant is overpriced and does not live up to the “Best Italian restaurant in Indianapolis” claim. I really enjoyed the pasta in Vodka sauce, the salad and the house baked bread! However, the Spinach Artichoke Bruschetta was served with a burnt bread (literally black on the bottom) and the topping was cold straight from the refrigerator. We personally did not enjoy the Shrimp scampi swimming in a pool of wine, but I would consider that as an opportunity for personal development.
The seating is mediocre with high tables and uncomfortable rocky chairs, hardly contributing to the “fine dining” experience.
Service was good (our server was awesome and very knowledgable).
Overall, I think the live grinding of Parmesan and black pepper does not justify the prices on the menu.

This place has been on my bucket list for a few years now and it did not disappoint. Everything we had was delicious and every detail was thoughtful. The staff was so kind and attentive. The courtyard is the perfect vibe for a friday night date after a long week. We will definitely be back!

What an amazing family dinner. They were able to accommodate our party of 12 (with prior reservation). Our server Daryl (or his younger brother) was great and on top of the service all night. We never had to wait or ask about anything. He made it fun for everyone.
The food was amazing. Great meals for all our variant needs (no dairy, vegetarian, special orders). We spent about $80 per person with appetizers, entrées, drinks, and desserts.
And the history of the restaurant is amazing, spanning almost 100 years with lots of drama. Ask about it when you visit.
Eating at Iozzo’s is a must if you are local or visiting from out of town.

Went for the first time on Valentine’s Day for lunch and had a wonderful experience. The hostess greeted me warmly right away and seated me immediately. She was genuinely lovely and set the tone for the entire visit.
The waitress was exceptional: attentive, friendly, and present without ever being disruptive, which made the meal feel relaxed and special.
The short rib ragu was divine. Truly one of the best meals I’ve ever had, rich, perfectly balanced, and unforgettable.
Iozzo’s Garden is a special place, and I’m already looking forward to returning.

We went before 5 on Friday without a reservation and got a table outside back. There was only one other couple to begin, but it quickly filled. The service was fast and great, drinks were really good, and food was delicious. We had shrimp scampi and chicken parmesan. The meal comes with bread and an olive oil/tomato side to dip in that was good, as well as salad. Ended with the cherry, pistachio, and chocolate ice cream dessert which was also good.
