Feels like visiting your movie grandmother. I can’t tell exactly why but maybe it was walking onto the front porch before you enter. Maybe the wonderful smiling face of the older lady who took my order. Could be the soft piano music in the background. All of it was a calm peaceful atmosphere that slowed me down after an already busy morning.
I got the nutty professor and it was delivered to me in a big mug with brought me so much joy. It’s the little things.
My Benedict waffle was very good and the hollendase was pretty good and when I cut into the poached egg it ran beautifully over the ham and waffles. The waffles could use a bit of sweetness to the batterI but they were big and I would have loved a small side of syrup or preserves to finish them off.
I will be back for sure, hope to see you there

Invited to the Table is more than just a restaurant—it’s a place that truly lives up to its name. I come here often to catch up with one of my best friends, and we always choose to sit outside, sip their amazing coffee, and just slow down for a bit. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, the staff are genuinely kind, and the food is consistently incredible.
Whether it’s their perfectly brewed coffee, fresh ingredients, or the care that goes into every breakfast dish, it’s clear this place is special. It’s the kind of spot that makes you feel at home the moment you walk in. Highly recommend for anyone who loves great food, great people, and a great start to their day!

I love eating here! I’ve tried a few of their waffle varieties and my favorite is The Bae. I also love the coffee – Nutty Professor is my favorite. Perfect atmosphere for brunch with a friend.

Invited To The Table is a definitely one of those places that makes you feel at home. I know there’s mixed reviews of service being slow or food not being great but this brunch spot offers a place for great community and I think that’s there goal from what I can read/tell. We were fortunate enough to walk in Saturday midday and had no wait issues. We were helped with ordering by a lovely newer worker. I got the Bae which was delicious! And my husband got the Chicken & Waffles. He said it was good but wish it would’ve been fried chicken as you’d expect with chicken and waffles (but it did say it came with their house made chicken salad which wasn’t bad). The food isn’t a hardy American brunch so it’s not super filling but it’s a great brunch spot in my opinion for a cute coffee date, small group meeting, or study session. We also got the Invited Signature Latte which was great! Only complaint is that for just two waffles, an iced 16oz coffee, side of eggs, and tip – our total was over $40 which seems steep compared to other brunch places that serve much larger portions for the same price, if not less. They have water stations all around the restaurant that you can help yourself too. Plus plenty of seating options both inside and outside. Surprisingly they were not too busy when we went and we had our food and drink in less than 10mins. Once you get your food you’re not necessarily “waited” on since most of their staff is just behind the counter in the kitchen so they do ask you to clear your own dishes from the table – which is no issue in my eyes at all! Even with that though, the restaurant was well kept and clean. The atmosphere is quaint and homey, and fits the vibe for a smaller town like Pendleton. Would definitely come back for a coffee date!

Second time to eat here and was not disappointed! Very creative lattes – I recommend the Creamscicle – and excellent food. They cook the eggs perfectly. Beautiful restored house with great dining and relaxing areas. I plan to come back to hang out and work remotely.

We were elated to find a coffee shop/ bistro with so many gluten free options! The gluten free liege waffle was excellent, as was the gf blackberry scone! The owner and employee were so friendly and hospitable. My americano coffee drink was perfect. It is in a beautiful old house just walking distance from Falls Park, plenty of street parking in the area. Highly recommend this little local gem!

I will say that it has great potential. However our experience was not great. We walked in at 8 am very excited to get the cinnamon rolls they post. We had not been there and walked around a couple times just trying to figure out where to go. We finally found the counter where you ring a bell to find someone. They told us the rolls we not ready so we just got waffles instead. After we placed an order and got our own water, we had a seat. Wait wasn’t too bad but the food lacked flavor. My waffle had ham and some cheese that wasnt even warm or melted at all. I understand the liege waffles but felt like was just some cold stuff piled on with no sauce or anything so was very dry. The coffee was pretty good. Being 8 am it was empty but, of course, luck would have it, the only other people that decided to come in had to sit right next to us and we couldnt even have conversation as they were so loud and the place has a bad echo. Definitely not what we wanted for our date breakfast. The price was also very high when there are many high class restuarnts in fishers that have way better food and experience.

Update: They recently posted rolls aren’t ready until 9 am so must have gotten other complaints.

Love how they’ve remodeled the building to make it feel light and inviting while also maintaining the historic feel. I took my son over the weekend and we had a scone (seriously delicious), hot chocolate, and a latte. The staff was so friendly, helpful and welcoming and everything we ordered was really good, especially the latte. The upstairs area had games on the shelf and a nice view of town, while the outside dining looks perfect for warmer days. Going back soon to try the chicken and waffles.

Update: went for lunch today and had the chicken and waffles… they were delicious although it was more like chicken salad and waffles! The kids loved the waffle with fruit and whipped cream. They have high chairs for young kiddos but there is not a tray for the high chair so you may need to pull up a table. So happy this place is here! It’s a quick and fun breakfast/lunch spot

This place is so unique and delicious. The scones are so moist and flaky. Sweet and they also have savory ones too. All of the baked goods look amazing (cookies and muffins)! I have been here twice and have not been disappointed. I wish I lived closer. Coffee and drinks are wonderful too. The owner is super sweet and the staff I have met have been very friendly! Give it a try!!

I got the cinammon roll and Nutty Professor coffee. This coffee order is my favorite whenever I am in Anderson. Something to note about the cinammon roll is that there it is encased in icing. If you are a light icing person, I would maybe order another item for food.
