I came here for the pizza shells. I remember getting these as a kid and making homemade pizza. They were just as I remember, super good!

I really had high hopes that this was going to be the authentic bakery Erie needed. It is not. I will preference this review by saying I’m a very traditional Italian who grew up in Philly eating very authentic foods. My standards are way higher than the typical local in Erie.
Got a few different pastries to try. Cannolis had zero crunch and the filling taste was way off. The cream puff and eclair had the exact same fillings (this is wrong). Both were over filled. The flavor of the cream worked in the eclair but not the cream puff (because eclair cream and cream puff cream are different creams). Baklava flavor was also way off. The best part was the Italian bread. Texture was off, but the taste was there.
If you’re an Erie local, this place will prob be high on your list. If you’re accustom to authentic sweets, you’ll be let down.

Can’t say enough good things l. We got there Saturday 2 minutes before they opened and there was a line forming so we knew we were in for a treat. Saturdays they have fresh hot pizzas at door open and wow did they smell AMAZING. The selection of cookies, cakes, canolis and breads was wonderful. There was one lady working up front and she was a worker! She greatest, rang people up, got their baked goods and never missed a beat. We will most definitely be back!

Delicious food! Home of the pepperoni bread but they also have pepperoni balls (an Erie staple). Their cannolis are pretty bomb they also have other beautiful desserts (tiramisu, danishes, donuts, cookies to name just a few)! Their rolls are also amazing. They also have olives/pepper salads and jarred goodies that make great gifts! Can’t go wrong with anything! Munga!

Customer Service was awesome . The ladies were so nice and answered all my questions. They also acknowledged anyone else that walked into the bakery, which is always a great sign. Now the pastries are amazing! I bought a good selection and everything was just so tasty, fresh, and moist. My mother absolutely loved the cherry Danish, and mini pecan pie. I can’t say enough great things about this bakery. Definitely worth the visit!

Can’t complain I mostly buy the fry pepperoni ball and sub rolls and the pepperoni bread.
I only shop there when I am nearby since I don’t live in city of Erie.

If you’re not from Erie, MAKE the stop to International Bakery! It’s been around in the Little Italy part of town for decades. Great Italian bread, pepperoni bread, unbaked pizza crusts with sauce, pastries, cookies, and more! I wish I’d taken a photo. Make sure you go early in the day to get the best selection.
