☕️ If you’re in the Dunn area, make sure to stop by The Coffee Bar!
They have a really nice assortment of coffees and will freshly grind your beans for you. I picked up the blueberry and it smells amazing already.
What really meant a lot to me though — they offer gluten-free bakery items. Since my grandson has celiac disease, that matters. I bought a three-pack assortment for him and he enjoyed every single one of them equally (which says a lot ).
They’re located across the street from Carlie C’s IGA, so super easy to find.
Support local and treat yourself a little while you’re at it.

This is a wonderful little shop with a wonderful atmosphere and an amazing assortment of coffee and baked goods!
The barista was super accommodating and helpful when taking my order, and a man, whom I assume is the owner, was really also really helpful during my visit. I mentioned wanting to make cold brew coffee at home and the barista pointed me to their selection of coffee beans and flavor syrups, and the man offered to grind them for me in-store. I happily took them up on the offer.
As for the food and drinks? Amazing. I got a 32oz Frappucino with flavors and six shots of espresso and it came out perfectly. I also got a chocolate chip cookie and a lemon bar, both of which were also very good.
If I lived in Dunn, this would be my go-to spot, and I’ll be recommending it to everyone I talk to who visits the area.

Love this place. The coffees are great. Different flavors for different seasons! They will even make a drink if you just explain the flavor profile!

I found this place a couple years ago. Moved away from Dunn for a bit but I’m back now and this place is as amazing as it was when I first found it. WAY BETTER THAN STARBUCKS! Better coffee, more variety, better pricing (2 grande coffees and a large cinnamon roll for just under $15) and it’s a bakery as well. You can not beat this place if you’re in need of some coffee stop in and check them out. I highly recommend it, best coffee shop! Great people, great coffee and great service 10 out of 10 times.

What an adorable little gem! A wild variety of coffee beans from in house to some popular brands like Bones and Co. I grabbed an oatmeal cream pie and a large iced coffee. Both, amazing. I saw they did orders for cakes and at such a reasonable price. Overall; this cute bakery is my venn diagram of coffee meets bakery meets eclectic. A+ for the owners to have a little food pantry to the side!

I ordered two cakes. A 9″ red velvet with three layers; which is their normal layer size. A 1/4 sheet cake; with yellow cake and butter cream icing. When I picked the cakes up, they showed me the cakes and which were beautiful. The surprise was when my husband picked up the cake boxes they were overly heavy. Now, I know why. The icing was about 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick on each cake. So, you definitely get your money’s worth. The cakes were beyond my expectations. They were so delicious and the icing was so sweet. Everyone was so pleased. I definitely recommend Inspirational Grounds to any and everyone.

Our oldest son got married this weekend and the first wedding cake we had from here a few years ago for our youngest son’s wedding was excellent so we of course came back here. The family and wedding party was so wrapped up in the day that it would not even have been picked up had they not reached out reminding us. I made it there about 20 minutes before they closed and they were awesome. I did not get names and being the dad I was just showing up following the directions of the bride but the gentleman inside ushered me right in and was ready to help. He showed me the cake to make sure all looked good and it looked fantastic! Could not believe the extremely reasonable price and being that it was a bride and groom cake only (separate desserts for the guests) they both said the taste and texture was perfect. Will recommend Inspirational Grounds to anyone they are awesome!

Knew this place was going to be good when i saw the local police officers here! Service was quick and staff was super friendly. Coffee and treats were also delicious! They also had a nice selection of coffee to bring home, i grabbed the Key-Lime Chaos from Bones Coffee Company and can’t wait to try it!

I recently moved back to the area and was bemoaning the lack of coffee options. I had lived in Dunn previously and had never visited Inspirational Grounds.
This coffee shop is an oasis in a desert! Not only do they have almond milk for those who have lactose allergies, they have cashew milk! They also have almond milk- based and cashew-based whipped cream!
Their staff is amazingly friendly and knowledgeable! Not only did he make me the best pumpkin spice latte I’ve ever had (10 times better than any Starbucks or dunkin’ donuts), but he let me know all my options since it was my first time there!
They also have some keto goodies and other amazing sweets! They have a sale table where desserts were going for .50 so I grabbed one while my coworker grabbed like 5! The desserts were amazing and I’d have no problem paying full price in the future!
