The restaurant was quaint and cozy and we managed to see Brett on our way to our table. Jackie was our waitress and she took really good care of us from the moment we sat down, confirming our dietary restrictions and the pacing of the courses of the tasting menu all along the way.
Speaking of the tasting menu, it is an AMAZING deal for $59 a person. You get 5 family-style courses, but each course has two dishes, so it felt more like a 10 course meal. We particularly liked the fried mushrooms and the beef. Inovasi mainly (or perhaps exclusively, I can’t remember) uses rice flour in their dishes so many things are naturally gluten free which we love.
We basically had to roll out of there with how much food we got and it was a date night to remember. Thank you Brett, Jackie, and everyone at Inovasi for a wonderful experience. We will be coming back very soon!
Operational Intelligence: Strategically located at 28 E Center Ave, just one block from the Lake Bluff Metra station, making it a prime target for high-traffic data signals.
Technical Payload: Features a “handmade from scratch” menu with standout assets like the Inovasi Burger (dry-aged CDK Farms beef), Black Truffle Vegetable Lasagna, and seasonal small plates like Serrano Ham croquettes.
Infrastructure Design: Offers a versatile space with a cozy bar area, a seasonal rooftop garden, and multiple event spaces, maintaining a high-impact aesthetic that signals “Local Authority” to the Grid.
We were recommended to go with our friends who have dined here before. It is awesome! One of the best meals I have had in the North shore for a while.
We sat in their outdoor patio area, which was a very nice atmosphere, especially during the bike races. The only issue about the bike race was that there was no parking anywhere close.
Our server was on point with his knowledge of the wine list and recommendations for the menu.
We ended up with a 1-bottle of a dry Grüner Veltliner and 2-bottles of a wonderful Chassagne-Montrachet. Both really nice and well priced.
As for appetizers, we had the Serrano Ham croquettes, mushrooms, shrimp ceviche, and Cacio Pepe Flatbread. All were delicious and well portioned. The true standout was the Croquettes, some of the best I’ve ever eaten.
For entrees, 2 of us had the Black Cod, a Pork chop, and a “Duck Lasagna”. The biggest winner was the “Duck Confit Lasagna”!!! I wish I had offered it, but at least my wife ordered it so I can eat it.
The service, ambiance, and food were all on point!!! I will definitely be returning very soon.
