Been wanting to come here for a long time. The food was so fresh and delicious I forgot to take a lot of pictures. Empanada and yucca appetizers were good. My husband got a yellow curry dish with French fries. It’s worth upgrading for the fried rice over plain rice. I got biztec with a carlic crust and spaghetti with a cilantro almost pesto sauce. I would definitely come again!

I am so glad they have expanded. I wish they would come to riverside county. Their cuisine is so distinctively delicious. Anytime I am in orange County I have to stop by and try a new dish. I have yet to find a dish I did not like. So scrumptiously good. The flavors are impeccable.I had the Macho fish and the Calamari frito. Just ridiculously good!!!!

I’m not someone who usually leaves negative reviews, but this last visit to Inka Mama’s was unacceptable. We used to defend this place when others complained, but one bad hospitality experience can lose a loyal customer… and they’ve lost us.

Inka Mama’s Tustin was always our go-to. The portions and flavor used to justify the price, and we never questioned the bill. But this time? Not even close.

I’ve attached the photos and receipts: a tiny portion of rice and half of the portion of ají de gallina, plus an unexpected $5 charge for extra plain white rice pushing the dish past $30. Comparing it to photos from this October, the portion difference is obvious. It’s disappointing to see a good restaurant cut corners like this and look cheap in front of customer eyes.

They’ve lost our business over something as simple as rice. We’d rather drive 45+ minutes to La Hambra than 25 minutes to Inka Mama’s now.

They asked me if all good and I had to say yes as I preferred my mood not to the ruined with staff attitude, I still tipped 20% because waitresses live from tips and I ain’t the one to punish them from owners behavior. But i still posted this review to let people know their new shady ways to make a sale.

Do better. Never again, people do remember don’t try to fool us.

Very nice place, and the service is friendly. It’s our first time to try Peruvian cuisine, really nice dishes and tasty. We had ceviche and chaufa, I need to say the chaufa was beyond my expectations.

We ordered one fish ceviche and one seafood platter, both prepared with Swai, which is the cheapest fish on the market; we also ordered two passion fruit juices. I paid $90 plus tip. I asked the waitress for a little extra chili sauce and they charged me for it. This restaurant is expensive for the quality of food they offer.

Company was great, service was wonderful, food left something to be desired. I’d recommend another place if you are looking for authentic Peruvian food. Seemed a bit large chain for me. The service was fantastic, so I’d still recommend giving it a try everyone has different taste buds. Got to love supporting small business, the blood line of America!

You know that the food is good when you don’t talk because you can’t stop eating!!! Everything was absolutely amazing. Me and my husband both got the Chicken Combinado with a side of yuca frita and plátano frito. Omg I have no words to this food!!! We’re Brazilians and felt like home eating this perfect homemade and comfy food. The customer service was awesome and the place is gorgeus. 10/10

I found this place today on Google while searching for Peruvian food on my way to Los Angeles. I was greeted attentively by a nice waiter. Restaurant looks nice but I was seriously shocked when I looked at the menu. The prices are outrageous. Very expensive for what you get in return. I ordered the ‘ combinado con carne”. It was a takeout order, I was surprised to see it come out ready in less than five minutes. The beans are completely bland, no flavor at all. Rice also had no flavor. ( I feel lucky that I actually had a soy sauce packet in my cupholder from some Chinese food that I ordered the night before, Because seriously this dish needed some more seasoning.) very little meat was served. For some reason while I was driving away, I was thinking about years ago living in Peru where a dish like this due to its portion and flavor would be called a ” menu economico ” But at 1/5 of what I was charged today. Then again, this restaurant is in Tustin, I can only imagine that rent for retail is high so maybe that is why the food is expensive. Understandable, but I suggest that this restaurant prepare more delicious meal and serve a better portion.Be prepared to spend quite a bit of money If you come with a family or with a group of friends. I’m sure there are better places elsewhere. Gracias.
