From hand stretching and forming the dough to choosing only the best ingredients. Our mozzarella is made and stretched in house and our sausage is made from scratch. With our tomatoes, peeling away their delicate skins, and crushing them to the perfect consistency, our pizza is a labor of love. We have enjoyed creating a menu that will delight your senses, awaken your palate, and brings you back to us, again and again.

I then ordered a pizza which had sausage and mushrooms and my husband ordered a calzone. Both of these were amazing and nicely sized.
I generally don’t order dessert but opted to try the panna cotta. Absolutely wonderful. Light and flavorful. But honestly the star for me was their decaf coffee of all things…the said it’s Sparrow brand which makes a blend specific for their restaurant. Being pregnant and having had an array of decaf coffees…this is hands down the best I’ve ever had anywhere. Will definitely visit again.
We ordered two pizzas, the Mediterraneo and the Pistacchio. Both were very good, but the pistachio pizza was exceptional. It was rich, savory and easily one of the best pizzas I have had in a long time. I’m already looking forward to returning for it.
The service was warm and attentive, and the atmosphere was comfortable and inviting. Highly recommend.
We had the beet salad, Polpette (lamb meatballs over polenta), Angiolette Fritti Salad for starters. All amazing.
Then the pizzas had perfect crust with just the right amount of leopard spotting, with tasty sauce.
The dessert (deconstructed Lemon cake) was tasty…
And the music selection that night was great (Steely Dan, 80’s mix, etc)
After picking Iniga, we stopped in and were BLOWN AWAY.
The atmosphere and service were phenomenal!
Our server, Brent, was articulate, fast, and helped us grasp the distinctly italian menu. When our selected appetizer came out, we knew we were in for one of the best meals we’ve ever had.
And then THE PIZZA showed up! It was worth every dollar! I’ve never had better, and it was such an exquisite experience! I ordered the Hot White, and my partner the pepperoni special.
Thank you again, Brent and Iniga, for a perfect meal to our first day traveling in Illinois.
If you’re looking for a good place to eat in Ottowa after a long hike, COME HERE!
Atmosphere is excellent! Lighting is soft, redesign of the place is fitting for the style they’re going for. The open kitchen is interesting to watch the pizzas made in their fire oven.
We will definitely be back!
What I love most is how Iniga stays true to Neapolitan tradition while still feeling fresh and modern. You can tell they care about ingredients and technique, but they don’t make it feel fussy. The staff are friendly and attentive, and the whole experience—from the playlist to the plating—feels thoughtfully curated without being overdone.
Whether you’re swinging through town or making it a destination after a hike at Starved Rock, Iniga is worth the detour. I’ve tried a few of their other pizzas, but I keep coming back to the Margherita. It’s simple, classic, and done exactly right.
