Reviews
We usually get the daal, which always comes out great. The haleem is flavorful, the butter chicken hits the spot, and the biryani is decent too. It’s not a fancy dine-in experience—the place could use some updates in terms of decor—but for a regular, no-fuss meal, it does the job.
I really appreciate that everything is Halal.
They also have catering options that sound promising. Overall, it’s a quick in-and-out kind of place that delivers solid food when you just need something simple and good.
Service: Friendly, humble staff and great customer service; clean and welcoming atmosphere.
The restaurant is simple yet pleasant with ample seating options (about 30 I would guess). They have a big menu with options ranging from Biryani to Kebabs, and even non-veg options. To top it off they have free water which I always appreciate! And Indian milk tea.
What I found surprising is how affordable their items are and the quality served is huge! I have been to 5-6 other restaurants in Richardson, Plano, and Carrelton, and this restaurant tops all other I have been to in terms of food quality and price ratio.
This is why this is a hidden gem! Their food was of course very good and I loved it but nothing exceptional. I ordered their special for the day which was Chicken Kharahi. This comes with a big peice of Naan and 6-7 pieces of Chicken with mouth watering gravy!
The Naan was served fresh and the chicken karahi was excellent. We also ordered two prices of Samosa (also called Shingara in Bangladesh), and Shami Kabab. Both items were reasonably priced and very tasty! You can also get free sauces if you dine in. The green sauce was exceptional!
We finished it off with tea as we always do whenever we visit an Indian restaurant. Overall I really loved my experience in this restaurant.
Absolutely horrified and disgusted with my experience here yesterday. As it is Ramadan – I was out in search of samosas and ended up at indopak. They had only 6 beef samosas left. I was excited, checked out, and left with them. After my fast, one of the first items that I had was the samosa – only to find a white bottle cap inside my samosa which I bit into. My jaw still hurts from biting into the samosa. I’m so disgusted and disappointed that this is the quality of food now a days. Please please beware of the food that you get from here – it was a horrifying and disgusting experience. This is what happens when you ignore multiple red flags from a restaurant- it only ends up getting worse. Ugh – disgusted!
Before the review I did go to the restaurant but the manager was apparently too busy to address the situation. The staff said “sorry we forgot to check” and asked me to give a call to the manager – so I did. Called him and was told “I’m busy right now call back later” and hung up on me.
