Hip, rustic-chic spot for Southeast Asian fare ranging from dumplings & curry to pad Thai & banh mi.

The Pad Se Ew was really good but needed some chili oil which they have. The Khao Nam Tod rice salad was also really good but needed some spice as well. The appetizer pork and shrimp shumai were amazing!!!! I would recommend for sure. Also Mike was especially helpful without even being our server he deserves a raise!

One of our favorites in Tacoma. Well located. Everything we’ve tried has been outstanding. Great service, although they can be busy. We especially like the Pad See Ew noodles and the Khao Nam Tod crispy fried rice with sausage lettuce wraps. If you enjoy more heat, ask for their chile oil. Good beers on tap. Ambiance is good. Everyone friendly.

Excellent all around! Technique for the rice and fried chicken was spot on. Everything was cooked perfectly, amazing texture, fresh, clean and wholesome, good portions, the cocktails are also flavorful and mixed well. Great & kindly service. Lovely atmosphere, clean, easy seating. Absolutely will be back again, highly recommend:)

What a great little restaurant! I had the Bahn Mi Curry Chicken with Peanut Sauce sandwich. It was absolutely delicious! Very fresh, extremely flavorful, and well worth the price. I would absolutely eat here again and try other dishes because everything I tasted was excellent.

We came in with a large group and they were so accommodating! I know how difficult it can be to accommodate larger groups, especially without a reservation.
The food was absolutely amazing, the cocktails were delicious, and the waiter Wesley was such a good host.
I got the pad Thai and it was such a large portion I wasn’t able to eat all of it, and my husband got the katsu curry.
The pad Thai was sweet, but not overly so. The sauce was delicious, and the designs of everyone’s plates was just beautiful.
We will absolutely be coming back again, the next time we are in town.

Went with girlfriends and shared plates – a combination of appetizers and an entree. Plenty of food with leftovers as well. Some dishes were salty for my personal taste, but I don’t like salt at all, so take that, well, with a grain of salt! It was still very fresh, flavorful and enjoyable. Green beans seasoning was VERY good. Service was very nice – friendly, prompt. I do wish they offered a 20% choice on the preset tips (18, 22 and 25 are offered).

Great place to get all types of Asian food. Everything we got was super tasty. The surface was great! Lots of flavors and great enough spice. Definitely a great place to eat family style and share plates. I highly recommend and would come back.

I’ve been coming to Indo Eatery since it first opened in Tacoma, which is why this review is disappointing for me to write. Over the years I’ve noticed the quality of the food decline, and my most recent takeout order really confirmed that.
We ordered pad thai, wings, Chinese egg rolls, and papaya salad, and unfortunately none of the items felt worth the price we paid. The egg rolls were noticeably overcooked and burnt on the ends, making them tough and hard to eat. The overall presentation and quality of the food didn’t match the cost, and it felt like the level of care in the kitchen has changed from when the restaurant first opened.
As a longtime customer, this was frustrating because I used to recommend this place to friends and family. Right now it feels like the prices have stayed high while the quality has dropped. I’m hoping management sees this feedback and takes it seriously, because I would love to see Indo Eatery return to the quality that originally made it stand out in Tacoma.
I have pictures of the food but unable to upload them.

The atmosphere is chic and contemporary. You are greeted with smiles and amazing smells. It is my favorite Thai place in the greater Seattle/Tacoma area. The food is second to none and the service is top shelf also. My go to is the shrimp appetizer, lettuce wraps, and garlic chicken. Give this place a try, you will not be disappointed.

This restaurant was such a pleasant surprise. We were visiting from NY and stumbled upon this absolute gem. Everything we ordered was 10/10. I’d really recommend the chicken spring rolls, and the chicken banh mi. Our waiter was lovely and the restaurant was very nicely decorated. I’d look forward to coming back here. The green curry was also great and nice portion sizes for the price!
