This is the first time we tried this restaurant, and it won’t be the last. We ordered carryout and the food was ready at the quoted time. Everything was still hot when we arrived home. I loved the spice in the chicken. Some places have “spicy” chicken but for my pallet it is not even close to spicy. The chicken was also very juicy. The Mac N Cheese was just okay. It was smooth and creamy but lacked salt/flavor. It did get better when I began to eat the chicken because the salt from the chicken helped it out. The star of the meal was the Baked Beans. Honestly, some of the best, if not the best beans I have tried. I was nice and let my husband try a bite and he agreed, and we have very different pallets. Overall, good food and good value.

Pretty decent food. Good flavor, especially putting the slaw on the chicken. Just wish it was served a little hotter. That would get it that extra star.

Tater wedges, Mac & cheese and okra were amazing and fresh. The fried Cauliflower lacked flavor. Was very bland and needed some seasoning. The rice was phenomenal! . Customer Service was spectacular.

This has been my go-to chicken place since Gus’s shut down. Indi’s does a more traditional breaded fried chicken with a focus on soul food. It’s quite good!
There have been times in the past where it seems that the food hasn’t been served at peak freshness, but that’s gotten a lot better recently.
I personally recommend avoiding the chicken tenders in favor of getting the regular fried chicken. 🙂 It’s a much better experience.

What a total let down. Food was not hot, mac & cheese tasted like fish, greens were ok, coleslaw was watery, cod fish was a no go (eat unless you are starving) after $23 the wings% all flats were the only thing I finished & could stomach. I won’t try it again…It must be a convenient location for many, but better off going to grocery & cooking yourself. Great polite customer service.

Food for the soul. Yes, they are known for their chicken wings. But, they also have great potato wedges, crispy and spicy, as well as fried mushrooms and cauliflower. Absolutely tasty. Service was great and staff was friendly. It’s fast food, so nothing fancy. But it was yummy!!

How does this place have so many good reviews?! I was so excited to eat here. The Chicken on the bone.. great! Juicy and tender. Okra was okay, nothing special… But that’s where this positive review stops. The Chicken tenders are mechanical chicken, the Mac n Cheese lacks in flavor and sauciness, it’s so dry. The greens were grainy, like there was dirt in them, however they were buttery and salty. This place was NOT worth the price.
Just get chicken from Kroger.. way juicer, more flavorful, and cheaper.

They have just about any food you want deep fried! Inexpensive and quick! Mac n cheese is the best.

Hometown favorite. Chicken is always fresh. The menu has gotten a bit more substantial with more items. There is not any sitting room in this location they’re standing room only to order your food. Someone is behind the glass and they will serve up the items that you need. Various dishes to choose from. They are most infamous for their 6-piece chicken with a roll. Good original crunchy chicken. Very good, fresh, not spicy. Wasn’t busy at all. There is a drive-thru option and which I took advantage of. Very very quick service, 11 minutes total in the drive-thru.

I rave about this place to people as the best fried chicken in Kentucky. It’s been awhile since I had it and it did not disappoint! The keel box is my go to spicy if course and it’s to this day the only chicken I’ll get and leave only bones in the box it’s that good!
