Disappointing experience at this restaurant. We ordered Veg fried rice and Chicken biryani, expecting a prompt service, but it took 1 hour 15 minutes. The fried rice had curry leaves and mustard seeds, which seemed out of place for an Indian restaurant. We were overlooked while other tables received their orders. The service was slow, and unfortunately, our server had poor personal hygiene (stinky smell). Given the prices, we expected better quality and service, especially in Australia where standards are high. Unfortunately, we won’t be back, as there are plenty of other options in Berry, NSW.

Don’t bother. Ordered takeaway 3 mains. 1 being Dahl Makhani- got it home to find red kidney beans not lentils, called & the chef said that ‘sometimes’ they use kidney beans!! The other vegetarian dish tasted like they used frozen vegetables. I emailed & requested a refund for the Dahl as it was terrible & didn’t match the description on the menu. No response. Very disappointed & as a local will not be returning.

Food was excellent! While it was mild in terms of spice, all the correct flavors were still there. Ordered the Chicken Madrasi, Butter Naan, and Daal Makhani- worth the trip! Service was slow, however.

This house of tandoor is definitely a house of surprises. And great food options on the menu. Everything tastes great but get their recommendations. Quaint enough to get great service. And even a never before tried treat for the birthday boy. Probably in the top not many in this beautiful town between the mountains and coast!

Outstanding food and service to match. Our host Ajiv made us feel welcome from the moment we walked through the door. Tired and hungry I asked Ajiv to order for us and his decision was on point!

Another memorable experience l, thank you Indika

To be honest, it’s a shame that I can’t give this place 10 stars. The food is incredible, the flavours are straight authentic and the staff are just so accommodating. I honestly felt like I was welcomed to my family’s table when dining at Indika. I have to drive a bit to eat there but it’s always worth the drive. You absolutely will not be disappointed

Enjoyed a lovely meal here. Very pleasant seating outdoors. The butter chicken, pappadams and garlic naan were amongst the best I have had! Great service – felt well attended to.

It was a pleasure to see a restaurant open up a tad later than 8pm. The restaurant had a unique Indian vibe and nice decor (depends where you sit).
Had to wait for a while to be seated.
Recommendations include the Cheese Garlic Naan and Indika’s Butter Chicken. They were both delicious and cooked to perfection.
I was disappointed with the Mango Lassi. It tasted weird and was already pre-made. I’m used to Lassi’s made fresh to order.
