This might be my new favorite Indian restaurant! The puff pastries are amazing. The goat curry is the best I’ve had at an Indian restaurant. It’s so tender and lightly flavored. From the perfect naan to the tandoor chicken. You can’t go wrong here. Fresh ingredients and a huge market to get fresh goat meat too!

Just simply delicious desi food !!!! Here’s my mutton curry I ordered, I really like this place as a neighborhood local who has struggled to find indian food on the westside. No frills casual luncheon area but that’s alright with me! The service is decently nice, I will say they are a little bit speedier than other indian spots Ive been to so that’s a bonus.

I’m so glad I discovered Indigo Grocers & Restaurant on DoorDash—it’s now one of my absolute favorite South Indian restaurants in AZ! I first ordered delivery twice, and both times the food was so flavorful and fresh that I decided to stop by in person—and I’m so happy I did.
When I ordered online, Ms. Bhavani helped me customize my order perfectly to my taste and recommended some fantastic dishes that I truly loved. During my dine-in visit on a quiet Sunday afternoon (around 4:00 p.m.), I was warmly greeted by Ms. Ramya, who was so friendly and kind. We had a wonderful conversation, and she made me feel right at home.
Now for the food—absolutely outstanding! I tried the Punugulu, a light and crispy South Indian snack, served perfectly with flavorful peanut chutney—so fresh and delicious. I also had the Ghee Karam Dosa, and as a dosa lover (especially of ghee karam and plain dosas), I can say this was one of the best I’ve ever had—crisp, aromatic, and perfectly made. I also grabbed an Andhra Chicken Curry to-go, which was rich, flavorful, and beautifully spiced.
On my previous DoorDash orders, I tried the Chicken Dum Biryani and the Ghee Roast Mutton Biryani, and both were exceptional—authentic flavors, generous portions, and cooked with care. Everything tastes fresh and homemade, which makes such a difference.
The restaurant is also attached to a convenient Indian grocery store, which is a great bonus—you can place your order, shop for groceries, and then enjoy a hot meal. Don’t miss their Masala Chai, which is full of flavor and very reasonably priced (around $0.99 for a small cup)—the perfect way to end your meal.
The entire staff is warm, welcoming, and attentive, the restaurant is clean and organized, and the food is consistently delicious. All credits to the talented chef! This is now my go-to spot for authentic South Indian food in the West Valley. Whether you’re ordering on DoorDash or dining in, you will not be disappointed—in fact, you’ll probably thank me later! 🙂

Absolutely amazing experience at Indigo Restaurant and Groceries! The chicken biryani was bursting with flavor. perfectly spiced, fragrant, and cooked to perfection. Every bite tasted fresh and authentic. The lentil dal was just as impressive: rich, comforting, and beautifully seasoned without being too heavy.
You can truly tell the food is made with care and high-quality ingredients. The portions were generous, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the staff was incredibly kind. If you’re looking for delicious, authentic cuisine, Indigo is a must-visit. I will definitely be coming back!

I got the mutton biriyani before but through doordash and enjoyed it so decided to dine in. As an African American, I got looks but was treated respectfully warmly. The food is flavorful, earthy and spicy with traditional music played in the background. It is a market WITH a resteraunt setting in it, not the other way around. Currently typing from the toilet with explosive diarrhea the day after 10/10.

The Mirchi Bajji was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with just the right amount of heat. The batter was flavorful, and the green chili had that bold, spicy kick without being overwhelming. It was served hot and fresh, just like the street vendors do it back in India.
The Punugulu were golden, crunchy little fritters that were soft and fluffy inside. They had a subtle seasoning that made them super addictive, and they were served with chutneys that complemented them beautifully — especially the coconut chutney, which added a cool, creamy contrast to the fried goodness.

The food was delicious we ordered Andhra chicken curry,Gobi Manchurian , garlic and chilli naan ..chicken curry was excellent with right amount of spices and juicy chicken , Gobi Manchurian was one the best I ever tasted .They also chicken and vegetable puffs which were super tasty . All in all it the food was delectable and they have many other vegetarian and non vegetarian options , would definitely recommend it .

Awesome place for authentic Indian food in our west Phoenix!! So happy with their taste and satisfied that finally we have a good restaurant here. I’ve tried 3 times and 6 different dishes before posting this. Their pachi mirchi kodi biryani, chicken 65 biryani and mutton ghee roast biryani are the highlights. And as a special surprise, we got the goat haleem and this was one of my favorite haleems after dallas!!. Like to appreciate whole indigo team for their work. Keep up the good work.
