The restaurant opened at 4pm. I arrived at 4pm and the doors were locked. We has to wait 5 minutes for the doors to open. The guy who opened the restaurant was not too friendly or conversational. We theorized that he was the owner and that the waiter had called I’m sick. That was just a guess. It too a while to order drinks, and took a while to order our food. We ordered appetizers and main courses. The restaurant eventually filled with patrons. Listening to their conversations they also had to wait a while to order food, beverages, and to receive their ordered said items.
When the food arrived it was visually appealing and the aroma was pleasant. The food was incredibly delicious. We had cheese Naan and garlic Naan, chicken Tikka marsala, goat curry, and a chicken appetizer. The white rice served with the dishes was also delicious.
There was no background music. The tables were very clean, white table cloths, topped with white butcher paper, and maroon cloth napkins. The decorations were traditional.
All in all I recommend this restaurant because the food tasted delicious despite the service issues. If you try it plan on waiting a while for your food and drinks.
There is plenty of parking. And the restaurant features lots of vegetarian options.
The food was good (bear in mind I have pretty high standards when it comes to Indian food ). The highlights for me was the karahi lamb ( so flavourful, not quite as herb-forward as I’m used to but I liked it a lot) and the aloo paratha. The palak paneer wasn’t bad too, and neither was th biryani but, not great either.
I’ll definitely be back!
