I used to come here every single day for lunch. I stopped bc the quality has become so inconsistent . After today I will never go back. I always add extra avocado and this was the quality when I got in my car to check my food as I always go. A mushy black half of avocado not sliced at all bc it’s much hidden under a few pieces of sliced fresh avocado. The amount of protein is always Inconsistent but the good quality being tbis poor it’s no longer worth the money

What a cute little hidden gem! Stumbled upon it while visiting a space in La Porte. It’s a little café so there aren’t a lot of seats, but the seating is nice. You walk up to the counter and order and they bring you your food.
They have a huge selection of sandwiches all homemade plus desserts and soups. They even make their sides like potato and pasta salad which were both great. Staff was very friendly, the place was clean, and the food was fantastic. What’s more like? Two sandwiches two drinks, two sides and two desserts came out to just $30 so it’s also very affordable.
If you’re in the area and you need to grab a quick lunch this is a great place to do it. highly recommended!

The law firm I work for (Burke Costanza & Carberry LLP) recently opened their third Indiana location, in LaPorte, and I was in charge of our open house on October 22. Since we wanted to support local businesses and we were having ‘all day food’, for our luncheon (at the suggestion of LaPorte Economic Advancement Partnership) I chose Indiana Deli and Catering. Christine was my contact and she was responsive and helpful as we e-mailed back and forth, until we settled on Swedish meatballs/noodles, a large charcuterie board, stuffed mushrooms and fruit kabobs. Christine was prompt and professional with her delivery and setup. The food was perfect! Very flavorful, creamy, spiced just right Swedish meatballs/noodles kept hot for the entire afternoon; the charcuterie board was colorful and had lots of variety (complete with salami roses); the mushrooms were tasty and the fruit kabobs were beautiful and very fresh. I had to call her back in when the hot food was getting a little too warm due to the natural evaporation of the water bath underneath; she showed up quickly, consolidated our food items, putting them into smaller containers and cleaned up. I love it when people know what they’re doing! Christine, thank you so much for your help in making our open house a success!

I had lunch there today for the second time, while I didn’t know about this place until recently I am glad I was told about it, they have been in business since 1991, they have a variety of great sandwiches as well as doing catering, the staff is friendly and the service is good and the sandwiches are great, the people I took there were talking about how good the meal was for about an hour afterwards, it is a bit difficult to find because it is not on the main street, but it is well worth it though, in this day of big chain eateries it is nice to do business with local businesses and support the local economy, it is not a fancy place, but when I go to an eatery I am going for the food not the to bling, I know I will be back again and again

I can’t say enough good things about this local deli! The sandwiches are absolutely awesome—packed with flavor and made fresh to order. But the real star of the show for me was the lasagna soup. It was amazing! I’ve never had anything like it before, and it’s easily the best soup I’ve ever tasted. The flavors were rich, comforting, and perfectly balanced. If you’re in the area, don’t miss out on this gem. Highly recommend!

This was my first time ever coming here and, after all the good things I had heard about it from the locals, I was genuinely excited. I must admit, I was certainly not disappointed. When I walked inside, the place was packed. It wasn’t loud, but it was friendly and it felt very welcoming. I ordered three different sandwiches (was getting food for others as well as my self) and took a seat as I waited. The lady at the register was nice and polite. As I sat down, I couldn’t help but notice how everyone seemed to know each other. It felt very cool and like they were a whole community. As I sat and waited (only about ten minutes, which wasn’t bad at all) I saw three groups walk in and see people they knew and start talking. It was actually really awesome to see. Even the lady at the register recognized some of the people. As for the food, it was honestly amazing. The sandwiches may seem small at first glance, but they are packed FULL of meat and whatever else is on your sandwich. They certainly don’t cheat you out of anything. Not to mention, you get a free side with your sandwich which I paid no attention and had no idea about. I got the pasta salad for my side which come in a little serving cup and it was pretty good. Also, all sandwiches come with a pickle, so that was a nice surprise. All in all, I can’t wait to go back here again! 10/10 in every category!
