Indian Tandoor is the place to go if you are looking for budget friendly meals. We are repeat customers here for 10+ years and their chana bhatura never disappoints. We also tried paneer paratha and French fries which were good.

I was a bit skeptical about trying this place after seeing the crowd at a neighboring competitor during our vacation in San Diego, but I’m glad I did — I was completely wrong. The food here is truly delicious, and the staff is warm and courteous. The ambience is simple and basic, but they really shine with flavorful dishes, especially when you order à la carte to your preference.

I have been getting food here for 10 years. While most restaurants are getting more expensive, Indian Tandoor’s prices have stayed mostly the same. The food is delicious, the service is fast and friendly. The price is relatively inexpensive. 5 stars.

Came here for dinner with my wife on a Tuesday. It had a short line for ordering. We ordered their combo, which came with a choice for curry, naan, rice, and,I assume, dal. The staff was welcoming and polite. They brought out our tray and helped us get plastic forks and spoons. The food had good spice level, which we asked for medium. Although my wife said her spice wasn’t there. I ordered the lamb curry, which the flavor was good. Good, but not the best I had. Same for my wife’s butter chicken curry. The naan was not as thick, but was enough for the meal. The place is small and maintained. This was our first Indian restaurant for San Diego, so it would be unfair to compare with other Indian restaurants at this time and decide if it is a place we’d come back to.

Everyone working there is quite friendly. Samosa’s were room temp, tikka masala was decent as was tandoori chicken. Garlic naan was more like cilantro naan.
