This place is so easy to get to, 2 mins walk from Partick train / bus / underground. Food is delicious and lovely staff. Much more reasonably priced than other places I’ve tried in the area too.

We lived in Partick for many years and came here weekly, but we moved away 30 years ago and tonight as a treat my husband drove to get us a takeaway from the Indian Orchard because we’re not close enough for delivery sadly. The meal did not disappoint ,it was just as beautiful as I remembered, well worth the wee bit of travel and my husband said the staff were lovely as always, thanks.

I had the pleasure of visiting this traditional Indian restaurant last week as I was up in Glasgow and I’m so glad that we did. This is a cost, quaint and comfortable spot with a vast menu. We arrived quite late (close to closing time) and the friendly, warm and receptive staff smiled and took our order. I ordered a Vegetarian Jalandhari and a Tandoori Roti (with no butter) and it was delicious. It was made fresh, flavourful and full of aromatic spices. The chef really outdid himself with this one. I’m used to soya dishes and tofu dishes however it made a change having a vegan friendly curry made of vegetables. The portion was generous and the taste was delicious. I will certainly be back for more when I’m next up. 10/10.
