Reviews
Visited Indian Desire and had a wonderful experience.
The ambience was warm and inviting, the food was full of authentic flavors, and everything we tried was prepared perfectly. The staff was attentive, courteous, and made us feel very welcome.
A special mention to the owner as well (Ranjana) — genuinely kind and involved, which really adds a personal touch to the dining experience.
Overall, everything was on point. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for great Indian food and excellent hospitality in downtown Toronto.
I’ve ordered the butter paneer and Kadai chicken lazzatdar respectively per occasion. Flavours were really good, spice was nice and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Ordered this with garlic naans both times.
Setup is nice, the booth seats also are worth mentioning as they were really comfortable!
Will definitely be back again!
It’s a popular place, so if you don’t want to wait, I highly recommend calling ahead and making a reservation. Overall, a great dining experience and definitely worth visiting. Highly recommended!
Atmosphere – Well lit, lovely decor, clean, and not too loud. This is the ideal place to grab a chill dinner with friends or with a date.
Service – Spectacular! Our server, Jyoti, was so lovely and gave us great recommendations on what to order. The other servers were also wonderful – very friendly and attentive. I believe the owner also came by to check on us and thank us for coming. It made the meal all the more delicious!
This will probably be my new go-to for indian food in the city. Highly recommend this place!
The lamb and chicken tandoor platters were wonderful. My only suggest about the chicken is the small portion size but this is expected as they are a higher clientele they are after. The butter chicken, daal mama I was magnificent. The naan was very well made as well. When they put a good dollop of butter in the butter chicken you know it’s good!
Staff are knowledgeable about food accommodations like gluten free for example. The menu is well documented
Go visit here and enjoy their delicious menu. We will be going to the Niagara location soon.
