It was our first time visiting, though our friends have always loved this place, so we decided to celebrate my birthday and Valentine’s Day with lunch at India Palace.
Since we don’t have many Indian restaurants around us, we’re still learning our way around the menu. Our food arrived quickly, and everything looked and tasted absolutely fantastic.
As it turned out, there was a mix-up and we were accidentally given someone else’s order. Honestly, we weren’t upset at all because the food was incredible, still lamb and chicken like we ordered, just prepared in a different style. What truly stood out to us was the graciousness of the staff. They immediately took responsibility, didn’t make us feel bad for not noticing, and made everything right without hesitation.
To top it off, they surprised me with a birthday dessert! It was a thoughtful touch that made the day feel even more special.
Thank you to the entire team for the wonderful service and for making my birthday celebration so memorable. We’ll absolutely be back and will happily recommend India Palace to our friends!

Had a really enjoyable experience at this Indian restaurant. The food was flavorful, freshly prepared, and had that authentic touch that’s hard to find. The spices were well‑balanced, and each dish had its own distinct taste — especially the curries, which were rich and aromatic. The staff was welcoming and attentive, and the service felt smooth from start to finish. The ambiance was pleasant and comfortable, making it a nice place to sit down and enjoy a meal. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that a few items on the menu could use a bit more variety, especially for those who enjoy trying something new each visit. Still, the overall experience was excellent, and I’d happily come back again.

Moderately busy since it was during lunch time. We waited for about 20-25mins for our food to come out. Samosa was good; hot & fresh. Tandoori chicken was tender however kind of bland. Vegetable curry had a small kick of spice, though, I requested everything to be extremely spicy. Kulfi for dessert, different but not bad.

Stopped in for the first time. We ordered the Biryani for 2. It was definitely enough for 3 of us with left overs. It was full of flavors and delicious. Our server was prompt, knowledgeable, and very kind. We will definitely be back.

Had Naan, shrimp curry and Mango Lassi (best drink ever! – mango, yogurt, milk, blended)
Very delicious. Was like a 45 minute wait for the food, but they brought the appetizer out dame time as the main course. Otherwise worth the wait food was delicious!

Ordered takeout with an appetizer, biryani, and two chicken dishes. Everything tasted great. Unfortunately we were disappointed by the quantity of food provided for the price. The biryani seemed reasonable, but for nearly $20, a small container of mostly sauce with about 10-12 bite size pieces of chicken is crazy, especially when you consider the number and quality of other options in the area. I’ll be looking elsewhere next time.

This has been my favorite Indian spot for years. The food is always fresh and packed with flavor. Never had a bad experience here. The service is great and the staff are chill. Definitely recommend it if you are craving good Indian food.

Hidden gem in the heart of Woodbury with great Indian food. We tried the vegetable samosas, the coconut curry lamb and the madrasi lamb. They both came with an amazing Basmati rice. Everything was super tasty (careful with choosing your level of spicyness, even a 2 is VERY spicy). We also tried the naan bread (normal and garlic) and wow! It was to die for. As a side note: It would have been nice to see more pictures of the dishes in the menu to better know what to order and what to expect. Also, there is a lot of take out going on from the restaurant so I strongly suggest not to sit close to the counter to avoid staying in a crowded area with a line of customers or uber eat drivers waiting to pick up the food.

I ordered the Inland Palace Special, and it was fantastic! The meal came with a variety of options, including shrimp tandoori, chicken tandoori tikka, tandoori chicken, veggie curry or dal, rice, and your choice of naan. The portions were generous, and everything was wonderfully seasoned and perfectly cooked.
A couple of notes: the “mild” spice level was extremely mild, while the “medium” was quite spicy—bordering on very spciy. My dining companion, who loves spicy food, was sweating by the end of the meal and was glad they didn’t order something spicier than medium. Additionally, the booths are a bit tight and closely spaced, which could be uncomfortable for some.
That said, these minor details didn’t detract from the overall experience. The food, flavors, and attentive wait staff were all exceptional, and I wouldn’t hesitate to return!
