My husband and I love this place! We used to drive half an hour to downtown Denver to get decent Indian food, but after discovering this place, we’ve been back 3 times in 2 weeks!
Our favorite dishes are the butter chicken and the tikka chicken mahkal, which comes out in a sizzling skillet! The cheesy garlic naan and normal garlic naan also rock!
For apps, we love the samosa chaat, with an iced chai on the side!
Can’t recommend this place enough!

This restaurant serves the best Indian food I’ve ever tried. The prices are super affordable, the portions are big, and the service is great and fast. Strongly recommend!

I love this restaurant! Delicious food for a decently low price is nice as it is, but the store has a great atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating (DISCLAIMER: I’ve only tried the indoor seating), fairly soft music, and little noise from the other patrons (the restaurant was fairly empty at 3-4:30 PM on a Sunday). I’m happy my mother found something to eat even though she doesn’t generally like Indian food (she ate the chicken momo and some samosas). I recommend the Mango Lassi paired with the Bhindi Masala (the Okra dish), or any powerful dish, as the creamy, slightly tart mango drink washes down powerful flavors splendidly. The fresh naan & roti are also recommendations of mine. I also recommend trying the Nepalese food if you’ve never had it, they are distinct and quite good (though not as powerful as curry. Oh yeah, the waitress was very nice too!
ADDENDUM: Someone left a review mentioning that their food was flavorless, and while I disagree, I thought that I should point out that the Daal soup and Nepalese dishes are certainly less kick-in-the-face flavorful than what you might expect from an Indian restaurant, but every dish I’ve ordered was delightful in its simplicity (especially as a breather) or as flavorful as you could expect from any purely Indian restaurant.

Originally found this place by chance when a friend and I were hiking in the area. We came back several times, then eventually I happened to move down here, so now I can eat here regularly. Great food, nice place, good music, friendly service. Only problem is the price is a bit high, but you can’t really expect 5 star everything on a budget, so I come on special occasions. I’ve brought other people down to Littleton just to eat here, and they say it’s the best Indian food they’ve ever had. Of note is their naan; it actually has some body and flavor, it’s not just a cracker lightly dusted like I’ve had elsewhere.
Note that they will make the food bland if that’s what you order–even if you’re not into burning your tongue off with heat, and I am certainly not, you want to order at least a 3 or 4 on the spicy scale. The spice is the source of the flavor and so saying no spice results in just getting plain chicken and rice. The few bad reviews I see seem to come from people who expected richness of flavor without the very things that make Indian food flavorful, and that’s just not how it works if it’s authentic.

This is some of the best Indian/Nepali food I’ve ever had. The dhal soup and garlic naan were amazing; Chicken Tikka Masala and Lamb Biryani were unbelievable. And it is reasonably priced—all that plus 2 glasses of wine was only $69—plus enough to have for lunch the next day! Service was very good. It’s a very basic interior, but it didn’t take away from the great food. We’ll order to go next time.

This is our favorite Indian restaurant by far! We live in Castle Pines now but still go out of our way to come to this Gem. We have tried so many Indian Restaurants and love this one so much! Even our 10 year old says this is the best Mahkni! They take such good care of us when we come here. They made us Pakora to try and send us some of the rice pudding.

The service is also fantastic. Our kind server Rita greets us warmly, answers all of our questions and makes great suggeations. Our favorite restaurant in the area!
