We were in town for a family visit, and came here on a Saturday. Samosas, cauliflower, Chana masala and dal were all perfectly spiced and very tasty. I chose a spice level of 2 (medium) and it was warm without being too much.
We came back on Monday, upped the spice level to a 3, and ordered the baingan bhartha instead of the dal just to change it up. It was perfectly spiced and really nice. A glass of wine and a Kingfisher lager rounded out the meal.
If you are looking for a treat, this is definitely the place.

WOW! We are SO impressed with India Gate! For my husband’s 70th birthday party, we asked India Gate to cater dinner for 22 guests. After submitting a form online, chef Jaspal Bath called to discuss the menu to be sure everything was set and to our satisfaction. On the day of the dinner, Jaspal himself brought the food to us and helped us set it up the trays in our kitchen in an order that would sense for the buffet. He was prompt and kind. The food itself was fantastic, and most of our guests expressed how good it was and asked about the caterer. Highly recommended!! Thank you Jaspal!

To our pleasant surprise, we were warmly greeted by Jas Pal, whose hospitality set the tone for the evening. The appetizers were outstanding, the food tasted truly homemade, and the dessert was absolutely delightful. Sunday 11:30am, I was the only customer and first customer here. The boss told me that his stuff not in yet, but he could cook for me, so I took his suggestion, spent $20 exact here, the dish should be 17+, with cash payment. The chickens were a little hard, the curry was very good! Since I was the only customer here, I took a little more photos to show the restaurant, and the music was great too, Indian style, for sure.

Best Indian Food in Buffalo. We had the Goat Curry and Chicken Makhani with Mango and Strawberry Lassi’s to pair with. The food, customer service and ambiance were all fantastic. Coming back soon!
