Hidden gem for Peruvian food with veggie options! We got vegetarian lomo saltado and arroz chaufa and both were tasty. Prices are a bit high (especially if you get dishes sans meat) but the owners were very sweet and attentive. Also yummy chicha morada (spiced Peruvian purple corn drink) and alfajores (Peruvian cornstarch cookies w/ dulce de leche filling)

As a Peruvian finding a good Peruvian restaurant in the city can be tough. However, I have found my new go to. The food was incredibly delicious, great portion sizes. I ordered for carry out and it was quick and easy. I can’t recommend this place enough! Connie is wonderful and will make you feel like family.

I stepped in here on a whim after going to the museum and I am blown away. The food options are vast. I went with the Lomo Saltado and believe me when I tell you it was still steaming when the owner brought it out to me.
The rice, the veggies, the sauces, and most importantly, the meat, were all packed with flavor. If you want, you can watch the food being made from the glass barrier.
10/10 would eat again!

Delicious food, quick service, kind people, reasonable prices. Unfortunately, they got my order half wrong, but since this was 20-30 minutes before closing, I wonder if there was an intentional substitution that they forgot to mention.
I ordered one steak taco and one chorizo taco, but I received two chicken tacos, which were still delicious. Would love to come back and change my rating.

We stopped by this spot after exploring the Walters. One of the owners served us and was so sweet and the other was on the grill! We had the paella Peruvian bowl and a chicken empanada and both were 10/10. the seafood was cooked perfectly. Also huge portions! A new favorite spot for sure.

Super charming new little Peruvian Mexican restaurant across from Walter’s Art Gallery! Outstanding lomo saltado empanadas, paella, and more. Wife and husband team have made this a labor of love that shows in their menu and dishes. Adapted a delicious vegetarian Lomo saltado on the spot also that got a thumbs up as well.

If you have any taste for Mexican and/or Peruvian food, stopping by is a must. The owner waited on me and my friends with a bright smile, and a generous spirit. On the two occasions I visited, I ordered the Lomo Saltado and then the Chicken Burrito. I also highly recommend the flan. And now I want to try everything on the menu! I’ll be sure to stop by pretty much anytime I am in the area.

Went to this new restaurant in Mount Vernon with a friend and we really enjoyed our meal! Food was great, drinks were good, and even better service was phenomenal! Two suggestions if you go, drink the chicha morada (purple drink) as its delicious and for the dessert, the flan is BOMB.

We were walking past looking for lunch and the owner came out to tell us about their food. I have a garlic onion allergy and they were able to accommodate it!! I couldn’t believe it, I got a chicken quesadilla that was SO YUMMY. The sauce they use was 10/10 and the chicken was so perfect. The tortillas are freshly made and are corn based so my friend with a gluten allergy was able to eat here too!
