Had the edamame as the app and it did not taste very fresh. The sushi was cold and the rice tasted old. A good sushi roll should be about room temp. The fish tasted poor quality as well. It feels lazy, and I think they need to step up their game or get out of their funk. I generally don’t like leaving negative reviews but for the price you pay, it’s not worth it to come to this restaurant for the food alone. The service and atmosphere were great. The view of the town is phenomenal especially during a sunset… which really makes me wish the sushi was better given this great location.

I couldn’t tell you if the food is any good, our waitress apparently forgot to put our order in and didn’t acknowledge us or check on us or the food. At the 45 minute mark we asked for a manager and was told it would be about 15 more minutes. By that time we lost our appetite for the place and went down the street to Oishi Sushi and not only had impeccable service at Osishi, but served in a timely manner. Also, we never got our sake at ITR either. Based on similar reviews, there seems to be a pattern at ITR.

In the Raw on the Hill never misses. The yellowtail carpaccio was absolutely beautiful — paper-thin, melt-in-your-mouth slices with the perfect balance of freshness and brightness. Every bite was clean, delicate, and so flavorful.

The blackened tuna sashimi was just as impressive. Perfectly seared on the outside, buttery and tender on the inside, with that subtle spice that elevates the fish without overpowering it.

If you’re a sushi or seafood lover, these two dishes are a must-order. Consistently fresh, expertly prepared, and always worth coming back for. ✨

This place has an outdoor patio with a great view. That’s about where the perks end.

It took longer than expected to get our food for a Wednesday lunch time that was honestly not that busy. I would not recommend this place if you have an hour lunch break because you’ll need to spend at least 1.5 hours here.

We got the fried rice, Tuna nacho, in the raw combo, and another specialty sushi roll with soft shell crab. I would say that the sushi is way underwhelming for what you get at this price point. The specialty roll is nothing out of the ordinary. The most disappointing thing has got to be the fried rice. Literally sushi rice with soy sauce, an egg, and scallions sprinkled on top. The best of it all was the tuna nacho, but for the price and portion, I wouldn’t get it again.

Overall, food was a dud, the waitress was attentive, but it took too long to get the food. The best part is the view from the patio.

I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone unless they are desperate for a sushi fix.

Didn’t care for the food at all.
Rock n Roll, tasted like they made it the day before.
Calamari, was okay, nothing to brag about.
Korean Wings were good.
Blackened Salmon was dry, and small portions served.
Teriyaki Rice Bowl w/chicken tasted like a microwave meal.
Two apps, two mains, a roll, one lemonade…
All for $90. Never again!
The view is spectacular for Tulsa, and drinks at sunset would be a hit.

This place has good food, though kinda small portions. The customer service is good, got seated pretty fast, and food came out relatively quickly! Would definitely recommend this as like a date night spot. The view of tulsa was also a big plus.

It was a wonderful experience. Coming from areas of the world where the menu displays if wild caught or farm raised; I wished this would be printed/disclosed on their menu. The service was excellent!

Great food & environment. We were seated right by the kitchen and asked to be seated in a booth that was empty. The hostess said it was reserved and they had to leave it empty until the party arrived. One of the workers had a container of dishes and hit my gf in the back of the head with it as they were carrying it back to the kitchen. 45 minutes later the booth was still empty and we insisted we be moved because of how tight the back table was to the kitchen – it was very uncomfortable sitting there with the staff constantly squeezing by.

The food was a disappointment. The miso soup had mushrooms in it and way too many at that. The sushi rolls were just ok. However I did enjoy one of their appetizers, their ChOCho Beef was delicious.
