These are the best Buffalo Wings in the city. You should try their buffalo chips and their blue cheese tastes so delicious! The atmosphere was cool and relaxed. The service was great! They also have TVs for game days, which is really nice. This place is an absolute must for any chicken wing lover in Brownsville!

The food was decent. I had a terrible service with the girls. They have so much attitude and it doesn’t even feel welcoming. I told this girl kindly that my order was called/ready ( even pointed that it was on the top of the shelve) and she just nodded and kept acting “busy” by looking at the orders from the screen instead of bagging my order after I waited for an hour for my food. I then tell her kindly again, that my order has been paid for already because I thought that’s what she was looking at, but no she then walks to the back where all their bags/personal items are and she is DOING NOTHING. Finally, some other girl comes and sees my order then starts bagging it. Then to even top it off, of course they forgot something from my order. FIRST AND LAST TIME THERE, unprofessional experience at the Ruben Torres location.

Went for the Wednesday wing special. Ordered an onion bloom while we waited for 4 pm to arrive when the special started. The wings were good, but the onion bloom was NOT good. It was not cut well, could not even pull a piece off, as all that would come off is the no flavor batter coating. The center didn’t even have any batter on it. Even cutting it, it was still hard to eat and the batter they use is not good. One of my favorite things to eat but not here! Very disappointing! For $8 I expected a lot better! We didn’t even eat 1/4 of it! And of course they didn’t ask why 4 people hardly touched the $8 onion bloom. Not very good service, but they were busy. Will go back for the wings, but DO NOT waste your money on the onion bloom!

Known for their delicious wings, and 2 for 1 specials, this restaurant/bar is a classic spot in Brownsville. With covid restrictions there isn’t any karaoke or live bands playing, but they still have cold beers and great food. This is a place I have enjoyed with my family since childhood. I order my wings extra crispy and saucy with a side of Buffalo chips.

Used to love this place but I’m probably not going back, at least not this location. We ordered 2 side of fries and only got one. The boneless wings looked like leftovers. We had no issues with the regular wings until we saw one had a literal FEATHER – I am not sure if this is normal but we’ve never seen one. Not to mention service was extremely slow, but this has always been a thing I didn’t mind before because the wings were actually good.

Your best bet is to go to lucky barrel because this place is not worth it. Food is way over priced while not being that good. Drinks are regular. I do not recommend, priced similarly to San Francisco while not being particularly good.

The foods great at this spot but today was very unfortunate. Waiter came once to drop off some water and an hour later never showed back up. Decided to leave after no one came to take our order an hour and thirty minutes later. We left terribly disappointed, this place used to be very welcoming and now the customer service is just rude. It is not what it used to be like before.
