This is the best Chinese take out in Indy! I drive across town to go here. The food is high quality and delicious. The owners are very kind. Today I got the garlic chicken stir fry with fried rice and a wonton soup. I’ll keep coming back for more, and suggest you do too!

My husband and I found this gem of a restaurant on Google and we were absolutely delighted! Service was so polite and fast. There were regular customers which comes as no surprise. Had we not driven from Texas but lived locally, I’d certainly buy dinner at Imperial Palace weekly.

Portion sizes were just right. We left feeling full. The crab Rangoon were mammoth and not to be missed. So fresh and flavorful!!!

The restaurant was immaculately clean. Music was perfect. From now on, if we are ever in Indianapolis, we will be here first for dinner.

After teaching 30 years in a predominantly Asian part of Houston I have had some wonderful Chinese and Vietnamese food, but never as good as tonight’s meal at Imperial Palace.

In an era of sub par oriental food this place stands out as the standard of what oriental should be, the food was incredible, the crab rangoons are notably impressive, not the dry husk you might be used to nowadays, huge and absolutely packed with filling and you get a complimentary S&S too, the noodles were cooked to perfection and flavored perfectly and the chicken was perfect – crispy and moist on the inside but not burnt and hardened like what seems to be the standard nowadays.
Atmosphere was great and even quirky in a good way with classical American icons decorating the walls, the gentleman inside was also very polite, also something that is less and less common.
All around a good spot and they deserve to be rewarded with good business.

We were very happy to find a halal chinese restaurant in Indianapolis. Although they serve pork, their chicken and beef are halal. The beef dishes are highly recommended, specially the beef fried rice. During lunch hour they also provide a very affordable set meal which contains rice, spring roll and some entree. The owner/host is also very kind and welcoming. Highly recommend anyone trying authentic Chinese food while also maintaining halal.

Typical tasting American Chinese food. Nothing special. The egg rolls were the best part of my meal. I also ordered sesame chicken with fried rice and crab rangoons. The sesame chicken was too sweet for my taste and the fried rice was bland. The rangoons tasted ok, but they had too much dough to be enjoyable.

This is the best Chinese food we have had since we moved here. The egg rolls are crispy and delicious. The pork fried rice has a sweet grilled flavor to it that makes it hard to stop eating. The atmosphere is quaint and relaxing. Honestly there is too many good things to say about it. We drive 20 minutes to eat here and always leave with a smile on our faces, happy bellies and plenty of left overs.

Also the owner couldn’t be more friendly and the chef is very talented! Please help support this business during the Covid crisis and in the future and buy some delicious food!

Used to be so good but something’s changed. No longer add broccoli with the yum yum chicken. The wonton soup tasted burnt? Not good at all and didn’t provide any crispy strips.

So far the best Chinese spot I’ve ate at in Indianapolis.
My husband is picky when it comes to eating out and he loved the food here.
The Crab Rangoons are huge and fresh!
As you can see they are as big as my hand I got full with 3 & they serve 4.
The flavor of the food is on point and not bland.
They season or salt perfectly.
Their bathroom was really clean and so was the restaurant.
The atmosphere was chill with the bamboo plants.
And the staff was very friendly, both the guy that took our order and the guy we checked out with.
We came here to dine in on July 10 during lunch.
I highly recommend this spot! ️

Absolutely love this hidden gem. I’ve been coming here for years. The original owner was wonderful and the current owner kept everything going! Thank you for always having our large office lunch to-go order ready, fresh, and ALWAYS correct! I recommend this to anyone and everyone that asks about a good Chinese spot.

As we walked in, this place had a feel of Florida vibe. Our server was friendly. Food didn’t take long. While I was eating I actually felt less stressed in the enviorment listening to old music like Bing Crosby and surrounded by real large tropical plants. A lot of photos are of Marilyn Monroe on the wall. This was a really nice vibe!
