So I have to take two stars. They have removed macaroni as a standard side choice – it is now a premium option only and is a whopping $6 per serving. Their other side options just aren’t that great after trying several and not being able to get the macaroni without the massive upcharge will definitely affect my future orders since I’ve tried their other sides.

Food was awesome. Portions excellent. Flavor excellent. Might be onto something here! I had the blackened salmon and shrimp and mac and cheese. The mac and cheese is actually proper baked mac and cheese and is great! Prices were good also. Y’all go ahead!!

One of the best restaurants I ever been to in my entire life! This is the best restaurant I been to in 2025! Days are Tuesday -‘Friday open for business. I accidentally went on a Monday and they were closed.I ordered the Fat Chris Wings Combo and it comes with house made lemonade! In the words of B High the radio podcaster My God! This combo is 4 jumbo wings with choice of seasoning I got lemon pepper wet and 2 pieces of Texas toast and fries! This is a lot of delicious food! I sent a picture to my brother and he said that he needs this ha lol. I sent a picture to my mom and she said that I got to take her here also. I was also given a sample of the mint lemonade oooooweeeeee! I moved to the area recently and this restaurant is like 0.5 in distance away from my apartment! My new favorite spot! This is a restaurant and a bakery! I got Cookies in the paper wrappers below my food in the pics. This is a labor of love for the chef! My compliments to the chef and the great cashier! If you are sleeping on this place you better wake up! They have a vast food menu! They have assorted Cookies, assorted Brownies and assorted Bunt Cakes! Go to this business and see for yourself support this place asap! Pull up! I’m back jack I visited this place 2 days in a row! I got my mom the meal I got the day before seasoning with honey garlic! and I also got her a glazed bunt cake.I got the 2 pc whiting with shrimp and fries with tartar sauce and cocktail sauce and ketchup and a can drink comes with it. I also got the 3 pc jumbo wings for $8.00 with honey garlic seasoning! I also got a Cookies and Cream Bunt Cake!! This place is going to be closed for a month due to graduations and a vacation! Can we please make this place go viral!! Everyone in the neighborhood close and near and even far away! Put your money where your mouth is! Let’s make this place go viral when they open back up! Let lines be out of the door and the parking lot packed like everyone did when Mr ChimeTime was on Moreland Ave! I’m saying this from a foodie in the area the food is definitely worth it and the service! If you haven’t been here yet what are you waiting on? This restaurant is The Creme De la Creme! From local to global! One of the best for in the area hands down!

I ordered the fish and shrimp combo, which included fries and a drink. I was initially on the fence about ordering as I’d never eaten here before. I have to say I’m rarely blown away, especially with seafood…being originally from a coastal town, good seafood is so hard to find. The first bite of the fish (whiting) and the shrimp made me do a double take. The seasoning in the breading is so delicious, and nothing like I’ve ever had. And the breading wasn’t thick or too heavy, it was the perfect amount to compliment the fish and shrimp. The fries, cocktail and tartar sauce were also delicious, everything just worked well together and everything was very fresh. I could tell someone really took time and care to cook and prepare this meal. Portions were ample too, just money well spent. I will be a repeat customer as well as let others know about this gem.

The food was delicious! I got a veggie plate, all the non-meat sides are vegetarian. That Mac n cheese was the truth and look at the size of the cornbread!! The lady at the counter was very friendly and gracious. Good desserts too.

The best food delivery experience I’ve ever had – my food arrived hot, well packaged, with large portions. I got the fried tilapia combo, mac and cheese, and mini sweet potato pie. Everything was super flavorful and delicious! I highly recommend and want to return in person. I’m even happier that I was able to support a black owned business.

Everything this man cooks is mouth watering.. Everything. This is not random soul food. His seasonings are what soul food is supposed to taste like. Portions are generous and the restaurant is clean. The desserts are must orders, even if you are too full. You don’t want to miss out.
