This coffee shop is located right at the front end of the shopping district of Colonial Williamsburg and is conveniently near William & Mary’s campus. I enjoyed a double macchiato and my girlfriend had one of their Valentines themed raspberry iced lattes. We enjoyed our drinks and hung out at the shop for a good while to get out of the rain. I will definitely be back again!

Suitable spot for breakfast, although pricey to a certain degree.
Breakfast for two came out to $61.
Had two turkey sausage egg on a croissant and two large iced caramel coffees.
Paper straws, so that’s an extra level of infuriating after they turn to mush within 5 minutes and force you to drink from the cup directly.

Only got a capucino and gelato and both were delicious.
All the pastries looked really good. Would definitely try next time!

This place was so cute. I just wanted a coffee after dinner. They were 30mins to closing and they were cleaning, so all of the food was taken away already. But the decor was super cute. I just got a salted caramel latte, and that was decent. The service was… not great. There were 3 employees behind the counter, 2 cleaning and one on her personal phone. It seemed like they didn’t want to take our order. I felt bad but then 2 groups of people walked in after us and were helped IMMEDIATELY, they didn’t have to stand at the counter right in front of the employees and wait to be acknowledged. I’ll be honest, The service was bad. The decorations in the restaurant were cute, the coffee was as good as Wawa coffee. If you’ve wanted to try this place go for it. But there are a few other coffee shops in the area that I’ve never tried. I would much rather try a new place, and I might luck out and get better service. Good service is really hard to find now.

We really like the Illy Caffé. The atmosphere is fun, modern and very up beat. Their coffee is very tasty and they have a wide variety of really tasty cookies and pastries. There is ample seating both inside and out. This is a great place to stop for a snack or to relax with a book.

This place was highly recommended by friends during a recent visit to the area, and it definitely lived up to the hype! I visited twice, and both times my beverages were just perfect. The staff people were really welcoming and pleasant, and the café was tidy and comfortable. I will be back when I’m in town again!

Loved everything about this place. For one that HVAC system hits different. It was 90 degrees outside and had to be 68 in the restaurant. It was such a relief from the weather. My iced latte was amazing, I love that when you eat inside they give you real glass. The sweets were amazing. Wish we had one near us in south NJ.

I try to give about everyone a five star review but I expected a way better hot chocolate from such a nice little cafe. There’s definitely room to improve on their hot chocolate game and why did it come in a juice glass instead of a mug? That was strange. The pastry was good.

Visited Merchant Square on a very hot day in July and though we’d stop by for some gelato and air condition. Enjoyed the quaint atmosphere and the varying choices of gelato available. All the flavors we got were very good and cooled us down as needed. Also ended up getting a frappe and one of the bakery items. There isn’t a substantial amount of seats, but there’s enough as long as it’s not busy. Overall a wonderful break from a long day of shopping and going through colonial Williamsburg. Will go back.
