In town visiting my boyfriend & found this restaurant & wow. Did not disappoint!!! We had :
Angel eggs hot honey – AMAZING
Seafood flatbread pizza – very good, but would be even better if it had a white sauce / Alfredo base to really tie in the seafood on top. Still would order again.
Cajun trio pasta- incredible. Full of flavor and perfect blend of Cajun.
Chesapeake Pasta -(with the cream sauce base) flavorful, amazing seasoning & could eat everyday!
Will be returning. The whole vibe was amazing. DJ was on point.

Went here for the first time and the experience was amazing. Bartenders had great customer service, served with a smile, engaged us with great conversation. Food was delicious and a lot, drinks were omg wonderful. I will definitely be going back the next time I’m in the area.

I sat at the bar to order my food on a Saturday around 3pm. My food and drinks came out quickly. My friend came really late, so I asked for a 4-6pm time slot. Reservations are for 2hrs. I ended up staying at the bar and ordering food for dinner. It came out very quickly. Everything was tasty. My French toast was slightly undercooked in a couple of sections. Other wise, no complaints. Karaoke and the DJ added to the vibe of the establishment. Enjoyed my time, even at the bar.
One thing I didn’t like, but it doesn’t seem to impede with business is the reservation system. They don’t seat walk-ins. You can walk in and ask for a reservation time slot, but if there aren’t any available you will not get a table. You can sit at the bar if there are open seats.

Had the pleasure to experience their new brunch buffet today which was $50 including a mocktail. Everything was delicious from the fresh fried catfish to the buttery waffle to the creamy grits and the bourbon french toast….I could go on and on! Our server JD was exceptional and made sure to check on us frequently to make sure our needs were met. The DJ set the tone playing hits from the 80s and 90s which was perfect! Good food, good vibes…just an overall great experience! We will definitely be back!

Went for happy hour. Was seated immediately. The waiter Cody who I give a 15/10 came over immediately. He was very pleasant and informative and had an amazing personality. He was very attentive to our needs and ensured that we had an outstanding dining experience. The drinks were great, the food was on point. The experience exceeded my expectations. I had a chance to speak with the owner and she was just as delightful as our server. This has been one of the best dining experiences I have had this year! Definitely a restaurant to try. We had the crab dip with toasted bread and chips, crab egg rolls, honey old bay wings, grilled chicken sandwich, and cocktails. I was enjoying the food so much that I forgot some pics of the food. Thank you Illusions for the experience!

Codé gave us an exceptional experience, this was our first time here and we be returning.. not only him but all the services was exceptional everyone was willing to assist… The vibe was an amazing experience… If you want great food great service this is the place.

I went to brunch at the second location.
We got there late but they were able to accommodate us. Once we got in, the atmosphere was great and they had Porkchop as the Dj. However, the food and service were not good at all.
The options on actual buffet were mostly cold or over cooked. There are certain items that are made to order on the brunch menu but it was hard to order them. Our server didn’t really come to the table so we had to keep flagging her down. $265 for 4 people (plus a $20 deposit) just wasn’t worth it.
I might try the actual restaurant for happy hour.
*Update I switched my brunch slot from the first sitting to the second sitting. We were accommodated and we arrived on time for the second slot. We did stop people when we could but it still took a long time to get things. Like I said, the vibe was nice but the food just wasn’t good.

Everything was perfect! We loved EVERY bit. The owner was pleasant and very in tune. We had no idea she was the owner. The staff genuinely got along very well which shows in their environment.
•Service: Natalie was our server. Perfect, sweet, and got everything correct the FIRST time.
•Atmosphere: It was relaxed. GREAT MUSIC!!!!!! Inviting and friendly.
•Price: The prices are competitive to other spots.
•Food: The food… the food… the food.. Shout out to the chef!!!!! Everything was presented clean and tasted amazing. So fresh and refreshing. It’s hard to finding a place that gets everything right and Illusions did just that for me and my friends today!

We celebrated my niece’s birthday on March 20th here and it was absolutely awesome, the staff, the food and music was great. We felt so welcomed and appreciated. We will return. Please keep up the great work here.
