This place and their staff are amazing! We had a little surprise party for a friend recently and everything was perfect. Food was great, staff was incredibly helpful and wonderful (especially Erin). They really went above and beyond for us. If you’re looking for a low key, comfortable atmosphere this is the place. Pop in, get some wine, grab a small plate or more and enjoy.

Love the atmosphere of this place, its a great spot to bring a small group to hang out. Good food selection for a small place. Ok here comes my issue, I have been to 100 wine bars or mostly wineries. They all want to share the details about the wine, you know, what grapes, the legs, the nose, the R.S…. But here I walked away knowing less about what I was drinking. I said, give me your best dry red, to which the nice lady turned around, grabbed a wine, poured it, set it down and walked away. I literally have no idea what wine it was, where it was from, nothing. If you are going to be wine bar, share the details of the wine, thats the whole point!! I am a loyal customer, but I need more of a connection.

Place is adorable! Lots of separate seating areas for all sized groups, but still very intimate. Lots of seating outside on the porch and picnic tables on the lane . GREAT wine selection, prices food selection. They do s lot of events. Great place for friends meet up or a date, but not a first time date or meet and greet. Not tons of parking, can be a little awkward when come in. You come into the foyer of the place and the bars to write but if you don’t know where you’re going, you just kind of stay in there and keep a look at you.

A group of friends met up here last week, and we were lucky to get one of the rooms that had a table for five and two high-top chairs. To buy food or wine, you order at the bar, and they hold your credit card to begin a tab. The house is extremely cute and very unique. Great for a date or friends. Parking is limited, but if you’re lucky, you can get a spot in the back. They serve beer, wine, and champagne, a variety of mixed drinks with these products. The flat bread was delicious. The male who served us was very nice, as was the other staff. See photos of food. $$$

I love that Illumination Wines doesn’t require reservations if you just want to pop in for a glass of wine. It’s such a great spot for date night, book club, or trivia night! The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, and the variety of wines is impressive. Whether you’re looking for a casual evening out or a fun group event, this place is a gem in Fort Mill.

My husband and I went last night for a date night. The house is decorated so beautiful for Halloween The inside is warm and welcoming and everyone is so friendly. The charcuterie board and the fig and prosciutto pizza were both delicious. I had a wine flight and each one was so good. A wonderful addition to fort mill and we will definitely be back ❤️
