The food here is always good. If you need a place for a much bigger party this is not the place. We called ahead to say we would have 19 people. They said they would split it into 5 checks but that meant only up to 5 credit cards. If everyone had known ahead maybe it would have been better. The ordering process was very bad. The waitress yelled from one spot in the room 5 feet away from the table to take each order of the 19. The manager tried to make out that it was no big deal, just a misunderstanding, but it was a rude way to treat guests. Try being at end near where she was yelling.
When we got the check nothing had been split at all. Instead of letting one more check be grouped, they escalated chaos instead of difusing the situation.

Our food was good to very good. The meatball appetizer was delicious and enough for a meal! The fried shrimp was overbreaded and just okay. We split a pizza that was very tasty. We’ll be back to try more dishes.

She gave me the check without asking if we might want coffee or dessert-we did. And her last words were, here’s your box (for the leftover pizza) and here’s your check as she tossed both on the table. Not a thank you for dining here or even a thank you. Owner, her initials are BL. She needs coaching!

We like this place but they are really inconsistent with the pizzas. Paid extra $ today for toppings and got the exact same as before, so don’t pay for extras. There were three slices with only one piece of chicken on them. So much for “extra”… Truly a hit or miss place.

My nephew and his family visited me from North Carolina this past weekend. We usually go to one of the 2 steak houses in the area. They wanted to try something different so i suggested J&P. I shared a pizza with their two daughters, which was excellent. My nephew ordered the Orange Roughy Chesapeake. His wife is very picky about lasagna so she asked the server. The server said it was the chef’s mother’s recipe. A few minutes later the chef came out and told her she will love the lasagna, so she decided to order it. When our food was ready the chef brought the lasagna to our table and served it to her. She loved it! My nephew loved his dish as well. The entire food and experience was amazing. They said it was their new place to eat when visiting Maryland. Great service, atmosphere and amazing food. Oh, the calamari was perfect!
