I recently visited Illegal Burgers new location in Southland Mall, Hayward and tried their Combo Kebab. Simply put, it was a fantastic experience!
The food was exceptional – the kebabs were flavorful, well-cooked, and paired perfectly with the sides. The restaurant was spotless, which enhanced the dining experience. Situated in a convenient spot, it’s easily accessible and makes for a perfect stop whether you’re on a lunch break or dining out with friends. Lastly, the service was top-notch. The staff was attentive, friendly, and ensured everything was served promptly.

Everything is Halal. Very clean inside, and the service is pretty good. The lady working the counter is amazing. The burgers tasted delicious. The Philly cheese stake I would have to give it a 3 out of 5. But the other dishes were solid.

Came here as I love trying new spots near me. I didn’t know this place moved from Fremont. Hopefully, they get the attention they need.
The food was excellent, a bit pricey but good. I ordered a giant burger with garlic sauce. It came out great, a bit salty, will probably skip the garlic sauce next time. I also ordered CBD fries. Didn’t really notice a difference so will probably just order regular fries next time.
No place is perfect in my opinion so here’s the negatives. The soda fountain is not hooked up yet, at least it wasn’t during my visit this past weekend. Didn’t enjoy paying fountain soda prices for a canned soda. Also, they seem to still need help as the person who helped us at the register was also the cook and the server. Just a heads up that until they hire on enough people service will be a bit slower than we’re used to.
Other than that, I will definitely be going again. Very good food and hard working people.

Lamb Gyro is outstanding, juicy and very tasty (best Lamb Gyros I have ever had)!!!! If you plan to visit, call them if it after 2pm, they might have sold out of the items you want. Free and convenient parking at the back of the building. Some parking on Fremont BLVD.

This is my first time trying the burger, I had the Japanese Wagyu undercover, the bun is buttery and soft, fresh vegetables, meat is really juicy and tasty (not salty). The serving is also big, you wont be able to finish half of the burger but you will because its delicious.

I stopped by for the first time today while grabbing some lunch and will definitely be coming back! They have an awesome array of different options on the menu, fantastic service, fair prices and the best burgers I think I’ve ever gotten from a restaurant! 5/5 ⭐ can absolutely recommend stopping in!!

We have tried so many Halal burger places in the Bay Area, and none of them have come close to Illegal Burgers.
We ordered the Giant Japanese Wagyu meat in the The Boss style burger and the Giant Brisket Steak meat in Hot Mama Spicy style burger. We also ordered the garlic fries.
We didn’t expect the burgers to be as juicy as they were! The buns were so soft and buttery and the meat was juicy and so flavorful.
The man who helped us told us that they grind and season the meat daily in-house.
I can’t decide which burger I loved more. These were by far the best burgers I’ve had in my life. We will definitely be coming back to enjoy more combinations!! 10/10 recommend!
