Fantastic! Came here from Massachusetts(Boston) for a quick overnight trip to see a concert in NJ. We googled Italian cuisine close by the hotel we were staying in. This restaurant came up first on the list! We were looking forward to trying them because of the great reviews, and also we both are personally from Sicilian Italian descent, and have had great food in the North End in Boston- we looked forward to trying some New Jersey Italian cuisine. We got the fried calamari and the Chicken parm and were blown away! Service was supreme, and the food was top tier. 10/10 recommend! Thank you New Jersey for a great experience!

We had our wedding at The Villaggio and it was perfect! Chris, the manager, was so helpful and accommodating throughout the entire process. On the big day, Rita, our bridal assistant, went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The food was incredible, the venue is beautiful, and we couldn’t recommend The Villaggio more!

Real good, just not excellent. I was here for a private party. They didn’t have enough servers. The food was average. However, the penna vodka was excellent. The venue itself needs a lot of attention and repairs. Not what we expected from their high-end reputation. Our party was a blast, great people, music and drinks.

We hosted a Bat Mitzvah celebration here in July 2025, and everything went absolutely smoothly from start to finish. Chris, the manager, was incredibly patient and supportive throughout the entire planning process. I can be a bit detail-obsessed and anxious when organizing events, but he handled every question and request with calm professionalism.
The venue looked beautiful, the staff was attentive, and our guests had a wonderful time. The whole evening felt effortless, and I truly appreciate how the team went above and beyond to make the celebration special. I wouldn’t hesitate to host another event here!

Our Favorite place for an excellent quality of food and service!! Every saturday is our go to place for a great dinner. the staff is the best. everyone of them very humble and respectful and professional! A must go to for a great dinner as a couple or family! Try the Pork shank over fettuccine with mushroom sauce!!

Wow!! If you want to feel like a celebrity when you come inside, this is exactly how you will be treated for the whole experience of being there. I was there for my holiday party today. Beginning to end, every single detail was beyond expectation. From the valet and coat check to seeing how everything was set up was very impressive. This would be my first choice of a wedding or shower.

My husband and I had our wedding reception at Il Villaggio about two months ago, and we’re so pleased with our venue selection. From the moment we first stepped into the building, we were impressed by the atmosphere. The ballroom is beautiful, and didn’t require much else in terms of decor. It was also wonderful that the ballroom had LED lights built in, so we didn’t need to worry about those, either. Patrick was so helpful from the beginning, and it’s obvious he’s a seasoned professional when it comes to weddings. He also truly cares about both the wedding couple and the guests enjoying themselves, and it shows. Il Villaggio does only one event at a time, so the staff was focused entirely on making our event the best it could possibly be. The day of our wedding, the staff regularly checked on us if we needed anything. It also seemed like our guests really liked the waitstaff as well. My husband and I were concerned we wouldn’t get to eat much at the reception, but the staff was already ahead of us. Shortly after we arrived, Gloria brought us a spread of most of the cocktail hour food to eat in the bridal suite. For dinner, we got all three of our chosen entrees, and we were given takeout containers for anything we didn’t finish. The food was all delicious (my husband is still raving about the Little Havana station in particular), and we all really enjoyed ourselves. Il Villaggio provided fantastic value for the money, and the staff is top notch. We’re so grateful to Il Villaggio for helping make our wedding day a success, and we highly recommend them for anyone wanting to hold an event.
